Sarama Rescue is a top notch organization. I have never been able to work with the other rescues because they did not consider all animals. That is exactly why Sarama is so great, they are a vegan rescue. They are a rare gem among rescues. Their fundraisers never include things like "beef and beers" where cows are eaten, instead they had a vegan spaghetti dinner. They absolutely send the message that all beings are important. They also take animals that are the most difficult cases. They are loving and give everyone a chance. We have Sparkey, a 10 year old Chihuahua, abandoned by his person because she moved to a place where dogs were "not allowed", he is a scared little fellow who has a personality that needed some help. He came to the rescue with a shock collar. We immediately got rid of that and Laura offered behavioral training. He is coming along well. He has bonded with me and loves our cats. He is still afraid of the other dogs but it's a process. He is an example of Laura/Sarama's love and care for the ones who need extra help. He wouldn't have had a chance at a shelter or other rescues. This rescue offers animals the gift of time. Time to heal, time to learn to love again, time to lose their fear of people and time to overcome any issues. Laura has a heart of gold and her rescue is an excellent example of love in action. Sarama is the BEST!
Sarama is fantastic!!! Laura is always so helpful with questions and helped me in the past with finding foster parents/forever parents for my dog when I needed made a difficult decision. She puts her heart into Sarama!
The most loyal group of people, that no animal left behind. They do everything they can . And provide % care
This small rescue takes on the neediest animals who generally come with the biggest medical bills, and never gives up on them. Awhile back when someone asked me where to get help with a small feral cat colony, I discovered there was no county agency that provided this service. Laura Miller, whose rescue's resources are always stretched to capacity, stepped up and helped. Sarama's staff is guided by compassion. They always seem to find a way to do what needs to be done. So, so deserving of any donations we can send their way.
Sarama Rescue has ALWAYS answered my calls, emails and met with me numerous times when I needed help or guidance with a doggie
Sarama has helped me find homes for many of my fosters and also taken in a many for me Over numerous years
Sarama is all about the Fur Babies and seeing to it they lead good healthy lives with loving families
They help sooo many dogs, cats & other small animals that many other rescues wouldn’t even consider- many with expensive medical conditions, but conditions that can be overcome when given the chance! Now more then ever, they need the public’s help with monetary donations. Please consider donating to this selfless charity so they can continue to help animals in need of human love and support !
We adopted our little Scooch in January. Her and her new sister Ellie are best friends. What joy they bring to us . Such a great experience adopting our new family member. Thank you Laura. And I know all your animals up for adoption are so lucky to have you.
Sarama Animal Rescue Inc. has a reputation for compassion for animals in need, going the extra mile for dogs, cats and other birds and animals when other rescues would reject them because of the looming medical expenses involved in their care. When an animal enters their rescue, no expense is spared to do right by that animal until they find their forever home.
My beautiful niece is a foster mom and when she was looking for a rescue to help out with one of her fur baby's medical issues, Sarama stepped right up to the plate to help out with the baby's medical help! She brags about them all the time and the great work they do, I even donated some money to help out! Keep up the great work and it's so nice to have angels out there to help our furbabies in need!
I've had a wonderful experience with Sarama. It began with me meeting Laura when she helped a high risk dog who i really wanted to see get out of the shelter, and he did! Next I fostered a sweet 10 year old dog whose family gave her up, and we instantly fell in love with her. Laura allowed us some time with her and whe there was a potential adopter, she respectfully asked if we wanted to keep our foster pooch, and of course we did! The whole process was the easiest rescue I have had... and i have had many!!
Laura and Rachel work so hard to help the feral cats and other rescue animals in their care....I had the awesome opportunity to work with Rachel for a TNR in Clementon....I cannot express the gratitude I have for both of these ladies... they never give up on any animal.. Please send them a donation. Any amount helps.....Thank you Rachel and Laura!! Hugs Corinne
Sarama is a wonderful organization! They take on some of the hardest behavior and medical cases that other organizations will not touch.

Thank you, Liz! We truly appreciate all your help and everything you do for the animals!
Sarama Animal Rescue is a gem! I have experienced their empathy for animals and am so grateful to them for helping me save an animal that I’m sure wasn’t bound for a great future. Laura, one of the founders, jumped at the chance to help, even knowing the dog had a heart condition. I’m grateful for angels like Laura. ❤️
