Mission: To provide education of living history farm life in 1930s, provide environmental education on native plant communities and provide instructor-guided training on homesteading crafts.
Results: In an average year, the Friends' group plans and hosts 3 main events, at least 6 hands-on workshops, tours for elementary school field trips and a number of free, family-friendly, public days for activities and tours. These events and workshops attract over 2,000 people to the park annually.
