Mission: The Center for Spiritual Care seeks to provide individual and group spiritual direction to people seeking deeper meaning in their lives and relationships; to offer spiritually sound pastoral counseling to families, couples, groups, and individuals; to promote accessibility of spiritual knowledge, practice, and care for all persons; to support holistic health, realizing the integration between body, mind, and spirit; encourage the active participation of adolescents and young adults in the exploration of personal spiritual practices in their search for meaning and purpose in their lives; increase participation by senior citizens in personal spiriuality support groups and workshops; provide alternative prayer and ritual experiences, and ecumenical dialogue and sharing of prayer forms across religious denominational divisions.
This center is a place of hospitality to all who come for functions or workshops. It is naturally generous and tolerant of each persons reasons to attend, and welcome everyone with simplicity and joy. The center itself is unusual in this community in that there is an open caring for all and the community itself. Carol Ludwig is a kind and well informed director and her example of this spirit is in all ways visible in every program.
