This is an excellent group of caring people working together in our local schools to help children succeed. I am very proud to be a part of this team!

I served as a math mentor for middle school students. By committing one afternoon a week, I was able to make a significant difference in student attitude and confidence. These students deserve the caring attention of an adult - not a teacher, not a parent - as they struggle with all the changes and stresses of the middle school years. This year I'm mentoring multiple subjects at the high school. Sincere effort by student and mentor alike produces good results in the classroom. CIS-P makes it easy for me to connect with one or more students, in a respectful and enjoyable environment. It makes me feel good to help.
