Mission: Sequenza Chamber Music, Inc, promotes and provides contemporary classical music by world-class artists for new and diverse audiences. It is the governing organization of Duo Sequenza, an internationally-acclaimed flute and classical guitar concert artist chamber music ensemble. Duo Sequenza founded this nonprofit entity in 2018 to further its mission of organically developing new listeners for today's classical music by promoting the works of living composers. It was incorporated as an Indiana-based IRS-approved 501(c)3 charitable arts, culture, and humanities organization, enhancing and transforming the lives of individuals and the communities in which they live.
Target demographics: people of all demographics transcend the mundane with a high quality classical music listening experience.
Direct beneficiaries per year: more than 400 people with live listening experiences and more than 85,000 digital track streams and downloads internationally from our Navona Records release.
Geographic areas served: Lake Michigan South Shore region, throughout the U.S.A., and globally
Programs: Project Listen Up! Residencies, Journey Beyond the Notes (Audience Interactive Concert), An 1816 Flute: Crystal Clear (Lecture-Demonstration) and traditional performances. Concert themes include "American Made," "Around the World in 1816," All-Schubert!" "Out of This World," "We Love Latin!" "Back Home Again (in Indiana)" "We've Got Rhythm!" "Now Here Here," and "Dream Travels."
