I have the pleasure of working for Capper Foundation and witnessing daily the amazing progress children and adults with disabilities make because of their programs and medically-based pediatric therapy services. Capper provides hope for families so their loved one can have a productive, inclusive, fulfilling life once they are adults. I watch children learn to speak when the parents are told their child will be non-verbal, walk when they have been told their child will always need a wheelchair, change behaviors from frustration to joy because they learned how to recognize feelings and how to navigate them. Our community is better because of Capper Foundation and how Capper's staff help change lives. I'm proud to also be a donor, assuring families that critical services at Capper Foundation will be there for them.

Mission: Our mission is to build abilities and empower people of all ages living with disabilities.
Results: In FY 2019, Capper Foundation provided 976,705 hours of service to 1,734 individuals from 63 cities and 23 counties in Kansas. 92% of our expenditures go to programs and services, 8% of expenditures are used for administration and fundraising. In FY 2019, our organization provided nearly $2.8 million in non-reimbursed services.
