This non-profit holds a special place in my heart. They work so hard to give the birds a good home, taking in all kinds of birds even the old and injured. They offered to take on two parrots that my mother owned for over 30 years. My mother is turning 90 this year and is so relieved to know her birds will have a forever home with people who care deeply about their well being. I cannot thank them enough. One of the birds " Baby" being a senior has trouble with her eyesight and may be nearly blind, non the less they offered to take her so she could live out her life next to her companion Tonawek. The selfless and tireless work, from the kindness of their hearts, is a blessing and is solid proof that goodness exists in this sometimes cruel and uncaring world. I love the Landing Zone Parrot Sanctuary, so glad that I found you.

The people at the landing zone could not be greater. They handle everything with such a loving manner. I am thrilled that I put my parrot with them. They keep in touch with me and keep me informed about my little girl. I love them for loving her.

They help parrots who come from either elderly people who cannot take care of them anymore, the border patrol/fish & wildlife when someone tries to smuggle parrots over the border, or a myriad of other people who cannot take care of their parrot anymore. They have over 90 parrots, and are planning on creating an air conditioned building for the different types. The buildings will start this winter so they need help there. Other than that, just people to be with the birds (but be forewarned--some didn't come from the best situations and sometimes act out)
