Mission: Arc of onondaga assists individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their fullest potential.
Programs: Monarch industries provides workshop settings with a wide range of opportunities from woodworking to piece work for individuals with various levels of abilities. Unique contract requests from area vendors allow for interesting and new projects for the individuals to participate in and develop new vocational skills. The enclave program provides a wide range of employment locations to best fit the needs of the individuals. Additionally, this variety offers numerous opportunities for vocational skill-building in order to enhance the abilities of the individuals involved. The vocational services program includes vocational training programs, personalized vocational goals and individual and group vocational opportunities. 131 persons served.
day habilitation supports people with developmental disabilities who have higher needs for more intense training in order to make their community experience, and the experience of the community, more positive. Day habilitation provides individuals with developmental disabilities opportunities to learn skills to achieve a higher level of independence, a stronger awareness and responsibility to community inclusion and to feel productive in their lives as unique individuals. 339 persons served.
residential services provides support and training for individuals in varied living environments. Assists individuals to achieve their fullest potential for independence and inclusion in the community. 97 persons served.
