Mission: Purpose on the Planet provides sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable communities in Africa, through the restoration of mangrove forests, in order to fight poverty today and climate change for tomorrow. The ReWrite Our Story program below is listed on the UN website as an Acceleration Action for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. REWRITE OUR STORY: Relieve Poverty ∙ Restore Nature ∙ Remove Carbon ∙ Reduce Emissions Every $20 donated is used to: - Create one day of work and income for people in extreme poverty. - Plant 100 mangroves to remove an estimated 1 metric ton of CO2. - Empower donors to develop your own low-carbon lifestyle and reduce your own future emissions through our monthly newsletter series, Sustainable Solutions.
