I have been with Hercules Haven for over 2 years. Danny and Alison have put their hearts and souls into making the Haven a safe and loving forever home for unwanted/neglected farm animals, and a calming place for people to go to and interact with the animals. Even though this is an agricultural state, most people have never pet a pig, brushed a goat, or played with a sheep. Hercules Haven is the perfect place to do these things.

I have been involved with Hercules’ Haven for over 3 years. Danny and Alison will do whatever is needed to give the rescued farm animals the very best care possible. It’s a wonderful place for people to visit and connect with the animals, They have rescued some of the animals from very horrendous situations and give them a loving, safe place to live the rest of their lives.

I have been going out to Hercules Haven for two years and love visiting with Alison, Danny, the other volunteers and the residents. There is a peaceful feeling sitting out in a pasture with the residents. These animals are going through different levels of healing. Seeing them as they grow strong , learn to trust humans and knowing that they will spend the rest of their lives loved, safe and healthy is heart warming. Truly an amazing place.

Hercules' Haven is amazing. I found out about this organization about 6 months ago and they care about animals so much. Their passion and drive is outstanding. Since I've started to volunteer they haven taken on so many challenges and new animals, and I love how they can be successful and give the best lives possible to animals in need. They have such a wide variety of animals that they help and they have such a positive look in the community. They are truly amazing at what they do. Keep up the good work.

They're a wonderful organization run by caring people who truly put their hearts into caring for their animal residents. Every time I visit, the animals are just so happy. And every time I donate I know it's going to a good place.

Great place doing great things for both animals and humans. Originally visited to visit with the animals to help with my own self care and healing of the Soul. The amount of love these animals receive at Hercules Haven radiates in their personalities. The care given to these previously unwanted, abandoned, neglected animals is amazing. The people are very welcoming and the Animals greet you with wagging tails, snorts or bahs.

Hercules' Haven is a little piece of heaven in Springville, IA. The minute you step into the sanctuary there's an overwhelming feeling of love and happiness. Each of the animals have their own story about how they came to the Haven. These animals truly show you what love and compassion is. The owners, Danny and Alison, are two of the most fantastic human beings I have ever met. They make you feel so welcomed to the Haven family. Make sure you check out Hercules' Haven when they have open barn days. The dates are on their website and facebook page!!

Piece of heaven on earth. Hercules Haven is so good for your heart and soul. Getting to know each animal and form bonds and learn their individual characteristics has been so fulfilling. Each animal is cared for with immense attention and love. I’m so thankful for Danny and Alison Stone for giving so much of themselves to save these precious beings, and give them a forever home.

Hercules Haven is such a magical place! The staff was so kind and welcoming when my husband and I visited. The animals stories were shared, including their paths to freedom! All the animals are cared for so well and they were all so peaceful and at home! We just can’t wait for our next trip to the Haven! All can learn so much about farm animal rescue and how very special these sentient beings are.

I have been involved with Hercules' Haven since the beginning and now serve on the Board. I am so proud of the evolution of this organization! They have grown from one tiny piglet on a small property, to a large animal rescue with over 40 animals, on nearly 40 acres!

The best thing about volunteering at Hercules' Haven is watching the kids faces as they meet the animals. These are very precious moments!
