This is one of the best grass roots, honest non-profit organizations I know. Their mission is basically to help sustain life on all levels, not only to provide water but by providing training programs to teach poor nations how to own their own business, grow crops and lead healthier lives. This is a global organization helping many countries throughout the world.
Please consider donating to this organization. Your money will go towards the programs that can truly make a difference.

This summer I had the opportunity to travel to Kenya with WHOlives and see first-hand the work they do. I was impressed most by their focused efforts to help villages be self reliant, rather than create more dependency, by trying to educate about the benefits of community-funded wells. I also loved the opportunity I had to learn about the African culture, and fell in love with the Kenyan people I met.

Wholives is a great organization. I’ve volunteered several times over the last couple of years in many different capacities. I’ve learned and grown a lot from my experiences with them. They arent your typical charity either. Not only do I feel like i’m making a difference, but i can actually see the difference first hand, which is incredible to me. It just makes sense, and i look forward to spending more time with them as they continue to grow.

A School and Community at Kidzumbani, Kenya have CLEAN WATER! Expeditioners to Kenya in July, 2021 visited this community, and agreed that they needed clean water desperately! Water was reached at 39 meters after 2 weeks of drilling through rock. Now handwashing stations and a water tank are installed.

I have worked behind the scenes for WHOlives for a couple of years now. It is apparent to anyone who has worked with this nonprofit for a week, month, or year(s) that the money they raise and are gifted through donors is sent directly to where it needs to go. Each program, project, and mission is thought out with not only the volunteers in mind, but also how to maximize time and impact at a local community or village that is in need. The organization not only brings water to those who are in need, it creates stronger communities by empowering people to create businesses or opportunities surrounding their new water source. This ripple effect can impact people for generations, and I'm happy to be part of it in a small way.

Nagamali School has "extra water." These are words seldom spoken in third world countries. Text the keyword KENYA2021 to number 71777 to support clean water.

I wish I could describe in complete detail all of the incredible work that Wholives is doing. Wholives has created a system of empowering people and bringing clean water to villages all across Africa. We spent 10 days with them and went to village after village and found the people who have had a well installed changed forever.

The freedom to pursue other work other than base survival ever day is lost on all in 1st world countries. I can't remember a time I was worried or had to work even an hour of my life to have access to clean water for drinking, bathing, cleaning and gardening. I can't even begin to imagine the dramatic impact of thousands of people over their lifetime per well of how much more time was purchased back for them to work at a higher level and do more in life.

This organization needs more support, both in people power, resources, attention and help in every way. They have an incredible core group of people that are making major strides and are all doing it for the right reasons. Wholives is incredible and if whoever is reading this, please do yourself a favor and watch a couple of videos and donate or find a way to go on an impact mission. It will change your life forever!

I had a wonderful experience with WHOlives. I went on the July 2021 trip on my own and the group was super inclusive, kind and accommodating. I never felt that I was alone. Having the opportunity to go to villages and be with the people and immersed in their culture all while helping them receive clean water was an unforgettable, life changing experience!

Never could I have imagined our family experiencing such an amazing opportunity as was provided by WHOlives. Having the honor of entering communities of such warm, kind, hardworking people has touched our hearts in ways difficult to express. It’s inspiring to see how something as simple as the Village Drill can have such a far-reaching impact. It creates better health and self-reliance in meaningful ways.

I am African from Ghana. I take great delight in sharing with the rest of the world what WHOlives does for humanity. What they do solve one of the world's most challenging problems is incredible!
I grew up in the cities of Ghana, precisely Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast. At some point in life, I taught in a village school for a little over over two, including my mandatory 11 months national service. During my time over there, I witnessed these kids drink from a stream that took its source from upland. Upland villages washed their clothes in the stream and animals drunk from it. This contaminated water source flows downstream where these students step into it, fetch and drink.
Each passing day I said to myself, "If I drink this kind of water these kids drink, I'll die the next 5 seconds." With what WHOlives dedicates itself to do to fix water crisis across the globe, I am more than hopeful for a better future for these kids; especially girls who stayed out of school because of experiencing their menstrual cycle.
I also love the fact that WHOlives' model creates economic opportunities for several families through building local drill teams. Women and girls are rescued from the claws of sexual abusers who sometimes attack these vulnerable individuals. I'm so grateful to WHOlives for such intervention to bring portable water closer to people and help kids stay at school and generally improve the health of community members.
Your approach to solving the world's problems is the way to go!
Well done!

I am beyond impressed with the WHOLives mission and success in engineering a sustainable solution for drilling wells in rural villages internationally. I have been involved with nonprofit orgs. with clean water initiatives, but most the time they do not give communities the opportunity to have responsibility in the investment and maintenance of their own clean water solution. In addition, the WHOLives model offers a great addition to any companies corporate social responsibility initiatives, allowing employees to engage in fundraising and increase their pride in working for a company that provides social give back in a meaningful way!

WHOlives is a world changing, life saving and impacting organization! I've known the Founder, John, since we were kids and became friendswith his wife while in college. Fast forward to decades later and I hear the inspiring story about what they are doing with a self-drilling portable drill to bring clean, sustainable water to those in need around the world. I felt compelled to help somehow, and had the idea of a benefit concert in 2017. Together with the WHOlives staff, top UT talent including Dallyn Vail Bayles, Natalie Hill Jensen, One Voice Children's Choir, Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band, Kelly DeHahn, and others joined in supporting the cause. It was a great evening and awareness and funds were raised to help further the impact of clean water through WHOlives efforts. Their business model empowers individuals and teams across the world to take ownership in bringing water to their communities, which forever changes their economic viability with local jobs and self reliance. We all need water- clean water that nourishes, not destroy us. WHOlives is the organization that can solve the world water crisis! They are beyond cool, they are the answer to a world in need.

WHOlives combines the best of water drilling technology (via The Village Drill) with the best sustainable way to empower people around the world to lift themselves out of poverty. With WHOlives it's not just about the cause, but it's about the individual people who's lives are forever changed. Clean water = health, opportunity, economy, SELF-RELIANCE.

I travelled with WHOlives to Uganda in 2019. It was wonderful to see first hand the great work they are doing to bring clean water to remote villages.
We visited several schools and orphanages who are benefiting from having their own deep water well on site.
The highlight of the trip for me was having the chance to work with a Village Drill drilling crew as we worked together to dig a borehole for a school near Tororo, Uganda. What an experience! The villagers greeted us warmly and sang and danced all day, encouraging us as we drilled. You could see the excitement in their faces as they anticipated having clean water right in their village.
WHOlives is a great organization doing important work.

We met John & Nicci Renouard in 2015 because someone heard of our interest in getting clean water to the nations. We were introduced to John by phone and months later flew to Utah to meet him and his wife personally. Since that day our lives have never been the same. We have worked closely with them getting clean water to many areas of Africa. We spent several days in Kenya with them drilling for water and meeting the people of the village. My husband & I have grown to love and respect this couple and this organization. We have witnessed their hearts of compassion and integrity and passion. It is an honor to walk with WHOlives in this water journey.

WhoLives.org is an inspired organzation that not only helps individuals have clean water but helps them learn how to maintain and support the well in their village with a job. That provides opportunity and knowledge. 'Teach a man to fish' is what they are doing. I highly support their work.

My name is Christelle and I am from Rwanda. My organization is Water Access Rwanda. It is a very beautiful country. In 2014 I was in the USA studying mechanical engineering in college. When I went home I saw children walking long distances to go find water. Even at night they had to go walk for water again. The most heart breaking moment was when I was talking to kids at school and I asked them who had suffered from water borne diseases. They all raised their hands. I was heartbroken. The Village Drill will be drilling, and drill, and drill until every child will have access to water at home so they can go to school. Thank you and God bless you.

I have traveled to Kenya in 2018 and Uganda in 2019 with WHOlives. It was an incredible life changing experience. We stayed in local communities and visited many orphanages, schools, and other groups who are working tirelessly in behalf of the African people. The Village Drill brings clean water to these communities which in turn provides health and opportunity. Children attend school instead of walking for miles to collect dirty water. Acres of crops are grown, animals produce more, and health is improved. I have seen firsthand how WHOlives is benefitting the world, and I am proud to be a part of the mission.
