Souderton Telford Main Streets brings together our community through fun events, educational seminars and community outreach. Art Jam, Framers Market, Oktoberfest, So You Think You Can Cook and the Christmas Parade are just a few venues to come out and enjoy what Souderton and Telford has to offer!
This nonprofit is so connected to the community. I have volunteered with them for several years. They have a mission for the community. The nonprofit has the dedication, knowledge & patience to make its mission statement sucessful.
Had a great time working the Art Jam. Lots of people attending and lots of vendors made the day so great.
Can't wait for the Oktoberfest this month and the Christmas Parade in December!!!
The annual Art Jam in Souderton is an event not to be missed. It gathers artisans from near and far to display their talents. This family friendly event is definitely worth noting.
Souderton Telford Main Streets is an excellent community based organization to work with. I started as a volunteer in 2012 and increased my involvement during the past six years andf never looked back.
The volunteer organization is a committed group of volunteers that works with the local businesses, community and local leaders to improve the towns they represent.
Main Streets sponsor a Farmers Market, Art Jam, Christmas parade and tree lightings and so much more.
I would say without a doubt that the Main Streets organization has improved the quality of life for both Souderton & Telford towns.
I have been working with STMS for just over 4 years on the Farmer's Market and Art Jam Events, and have attended some of the other events that they run as well.
They are a great organization, focusing on the community and business development. It's a great way to meet new people and other local business owner's and the events are always a lot of fun.
I have been a volunteer for going on 16 years. I have seen the changes in both our communities and the difference that STMS makes in all of our lives.
This is a great organization and each year brings more new and exciting events and people to the area. 2 years ago we were awarded a video by Abstract Media in Texas. There was so much happening, that it mushroomed in to a short documentary about the revitalization of our communities. Here is a 'teaser' of the final product which is available at our office.

Souderton Telford Main Street is a very vibrant and dedicated group of volunteers who is helping to make our Indian Valley Community a much more fun and happening place to be. They are a great group of people who all support each other and try hard to bring new ideas and experiences to the Souderton and Telford Boros. Great job!
For the last three years running the Souderton Telford Main Streets has hosted an event called So You Think You Can Cook. It's an amateur chef contest that brings together the business and volunteer community under one roof for a fun-filled evening of food, drink and friendly competition. The crew I serve with who volunteer to pull this event together, along with the volunteer chefs in the community, make this a "must-attend" event every year. All of my experiences with the STMS volunteer group have been positive and help me feel like I'm a part of making the Souderton and Telford communities better places to live and work.
I have volunteered for this organization for more than 6 years. That time has been fun, productive, made genuine positive change in our community, and provided the opportunity to join the board of directors.
We've made friends and business connections here as well. I like that my contributions are based on my talents and skill-sets: allowing me to do what I'm best at while helping STMS.
