FIER is an incredible organization. The founder and the volunteers are very committed, knowledgeable, open and dedicated to opening the discourse around challenging topics like racism and oppression. Their ideas are creative, and they are open to all ideas around how to increase awareness, inspire empathy and opportunities to increase connection.
I'm so glad we connected! I highly recommend them to anyone, but especially to people who identify as white would want to do the work to support change.

Mission: The Foundation for Inter-Ethnic Restoration is dedicated to addressing racial trauma, educating the public about racial literacy, and fostering multi-racial solidarity through inclusive discussion.
Results: Raised 2K in honor of a board member who passed away on September 7th 2021 Hosted a Dance Workshop centered on choreographers' racial experience to teach attendees empathy. Hosted 5 FIERside Chats with guest speakers regarding racial gaslighting, micro-aggressions, coping mechanisms for trauma, confronting addiction based on trauma in the BIPOC community and more!
