United Way Services of Northern Columbiana County's Executive Director, George Hay and their Board of Directors make it possible for Camp Fire Tayanoka to provide services to the youth and their families in Columbiana County (OH). The professionalism and dedication of Executive Director George Hay and the expertise of the Board makes it possible for Camp Fire Tayanoka to offer it's programs. Without this support, services offered would be severely cut. As an Executive Director of a nonprofit for many years, I understand and appreciate the time and effort that their team donates to ensure the continued success of their agencies.

United Way Services of Northern Columbiana County does a great job bringing a variety of charities together, all working together to make our community a better place. With United Way of Norther Columbiana County's financial support, the charity I work for has been able to support multiple programs in Columbiana County for years. These programs allow families in need to receive diapers and other essentials like wipes and toiletries, and Comfort Kits for the county's job and family services to distribute to children that are removed from their home and placed into foster care.
United Way of Northern Columbiana County cares about the members of their community. The team @ UW of NCC is always going above and beyond to be certain the members of this community in need have access to all of the resources available to be their most healthy and happy selves! Thank You!!
Northern Columbiana County United Way chapter is an active part of the community by supporting the local agencies who do so many good things for a lot of people. While not a huge United Way - the focus on the agencies allows support, funding, and a platform for them to let the county know what they do. Columbiana County is a large population with a lot of residents in need of assistance. No matter the need - the agencies (at times small) through the guidance of the United Way - are able to respond with the fervor and the attitude of a huge agency. Funding and guidance from Northern Columbiana County United Way helps them communicate with each other to try not to provide duplicate assistance and to work well together. Being a local community United Way allows the board to know the people of the county, know the agency boards, and develop the relationships that are too often lost in today's society. United Way Services of Northern Columbiana County is definitely a five star nonprofit!

As a representative of a partner agency, I highly recommend this United Way. The campaign is well-managed and the Board and staff are well aware of and attuned to the needs of the community. Donors can rest assured that their dollars are really making a difference in the area.
United Way Services of Northern Columbiana County is an asset to the communities that it serves. It provides a variety of funding to multiple organizations, recognizing its roots as a community fund organization but also moving a step further to recognize and develop new programming and services such as 2-1-1 and the FamilyWize prescription drug card. This type of proactive approach to the delivery of social services is not always typical of small agencies. The Board of Directors and Executive Director should take pride in their willingness and ability to continue to move this organization forward in a rural area despite a struggling economy .
The United Way of Northern Columbiana County, OH (UWofNCC) has been a steadfast component of the community for many years. Under its present leadership, I have seen this organization begin to make inroads into new areas of funding as well as seek out the ability to attrach new volunteers to help in the process of fundraising.
The Director has continuously worked to share the knowledge of each funded organization, as well as pull together united efforts in reaching into more pockets of the community. Expand the giving community, and meet most regularly with stakeholders of the area.
I have been a board member, throughout the years, at various stages of this growth, and know that under this leadership, we as a board, and more importantly, as an organization have gained insight on how to better market and promote the various services that are covered under its venue.
The board members are more informed of each organization that is covered by this UW, and further are in a better position to help spread the mission of this UW and the concepts of UW in genera.
