I am a teenager who has volunteered at the Adventist Community Service Center since i was 8, and i can honestly say that they do good work in the valley. In my time volunteering i have seen several success stories come out of the center from people who fell on hard times and were helped back on their feet by the people there. I can also say from having access to their financial records that about 90% of all donations go directly to helping people, and i can also say that the approximately 10% that does not go directly to helping people goes to helping them reach out to their community more effectively. Based on these facts, as well as the fact that not even the director gets paid for her work, and that i have never once seen them turn away a person or treat a person rudely, and in fact have seen them go out of their way to help a person, i can honestly give them a 5 star rating, and honestly say that they do live up to their mission.
