Causes: Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services
Mission: The purpose of dove uganda children's fund (ducf) as stated in our bylaws as follows to demonstrate the everlasting love of god and help the children of uganda have a prosperous future through sponsorship and to share the good news of the gospel through compassion, care, and education.
Programs: During 2017, our sponsorship program decreased by 36 children being sponsored by 227 sponsors at the end of the year. We continue to work in partnership with nyakagando primary school, hope kebir, peace yumbe, and touch africa now (tan), to provide much of the education of our sponsored children. We continue to have ministry centers in various locations. We have continued to provide assistance for well drilling for fresh water. Children recieved bedsheets, goats, chickens, mosquito nets, soap, and other items to better their livelihoods. Teachers and parents have continued training on childrens' rights, child abuse, and the value of education. Several seminars and church visitations were made during the year to benefit the childrens' spirtual development.
