Wish there were a million more caring wonderful people as the ones at orphaned wildlife center!all the dedication raising+rehabilitating all orphaned+injured+educating us along the way!
I've had the great pleasure of meeting Jim, Susan Kowalczik, owners of Orphaned Wildlife Center, their happy, healthy bear family, and Kerry Clair, who volunteers her time and energy to this amazing sanctuary. The time and attention devoted to their bears and other wildlife brought to them that need some TLC is inspiring and heartwarming. Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville NY is a great example of care, compassion and empathy for all creatures, great and small.
This is an amazing organization!! They truely love all animals and want what's best for them. They will take animals in need of care and raise them and/or nurse them back to health. If they are able to go back to the wild they release them. If not, they keep them and take care of them. The owners are very very nice and work very hard and need help with these animals. Please vote for them!!!
The amount of Love, sweat and tears that The Orphaned Wildlife Center puts in to every single hour of the day to rescue, save and help educate the public (via social media and their outings) is amazing. I make sure to donate and support them when I can knowing they are truely dedicated to their cause.
I have been fortunate enough to experience the Orphaned Wildlife Center up close and personal! Jim and Susan have comitted their lives to this initiative! They work selflessly to provide a save haven for injured creatures. They create a habitat that enables injured wildlife to find their way back to nature, after they have healed and learned what they will need to survive in the wild. The animals enjoy the best life imaginable, due to the sacrifices of Jim and Susan and the volunteers and the wonderful people who donate to the Orphaned Wildlife Center. I am in awe of whatbthese people have accomplished, with their determination, hard work and the generosity of kind people
I can't even tell you how rewarding it is to be a part of this wonderful organization! From squirrels to bears, bears, and more bears, it is heartwarming to see how much good they do, and how much love they give the animals in their care... whether it be temporary or permanent, no one can deny the love shared between this couple and their charges!
The Orphaned Wildlife Center Program has captured my heart. I like that I can select items that are needed from their Amazon.com wishlist and that the donations are immediately put to good use for the benefit of the animals. Jim and Susan are truly invested in providing shelter and rehabilitation to all animals who need their help. Being able to follow the stories of the babies as they recover and are returned to the wild is so inspiring.
I have been following the good works done by the Orphaned Wildlife Center for over a year. These are truly compassionate people who are very good at what they do, such as their care for the bears and little Squeaky the squirrel. It has been a pleasure to donate to this very worthy cause.
All you need to do is view their website (http://orphanedwildlife.org/) to see the wonderful caring work they do for these animals. Jim and Sue care greatly for all their animals big and small....and they are big and small!!
I wanted to get my wildlife rehabilitation license and was introduced to Jim and Susan. They are amazing people who do a GREAT job caring for all the animals they take in. I'm looking forward to helping out more in the near future with the injured and orphaned animals.
A++
I met Jim and Susan this past February when I adopted a ferret they had been caring for. I had the opportunity to see how well they cared for and loved the animals. They are remarkable people!
I first learned about the Orphaned Wildlife Center and all the great work they do when they stepped up to help the injured bi-pedal bear, Pedals. Since following their story, it is quite obvious that they selflessly work to help animals in need and go above and beyond in taking care of the animals at their sanctuary. They are very deserving of any and all support that they receive.
