Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment
Mission: Cornerstone for Hope is a Non- Profit organization that exists to support individuals to achieve and sustain sobriety. Our program Recovery Worx, located in Royersford, Pa, provides vocational training for individuals in recovery. We help individuals build futures and rejoin society in a productive way as they recover from the disease of addiction. We provide: - Vocational Training - Job Placement - Mentorship
Target demographics: We help individuals build futures and rejoin society in a productive way as they recover from the disease of addiction.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Students learn the fine art of woodworking, from selecting materials to design and fabrication. These items are then sold through various outlets and net proceeds are reinvested in the program.
Geographic areas served: Montgomery County, PA / Delaware County, PA / Chester County, PA
Programs: Recovery Worx works with people in recovery from Substance Use Disorder, providing them with the training and skills to rejoin society in a productive way.
