My family has adopted several dogs with this rescue over the years. The rescue puts care for the dogs above all else, which is what makes us happy to continue supporting them.

TTO gave us the right tools to support our marriage and each other. The small group setting, teaching and sharing speakers are wonderful, creating a personal and safe environment .. married or single, everyone can use the tools..

I have been a tutor with this program for years and it is amazing. Being a tutor and being able to help a learner achieve their goals has been such a joy. I am humbled by the learners' enthusiasm and diligence. Learners are paired with tutors so that they can learn one-on-one and really focus on their goals. There are also classes available to learners to further help them on their journey to improve their English. I have seen how much these resources can help learners to gain confidence and move forward in their lives. It is just incredible!

The Newport Beach Public Library, with its multiple branches, is truly top-notch. The Foundation serves to support and enhance the Newport Beach Public Library in many ways, such as hosting authors, presenting speakers on medical, financial, and other useful topics, and expanding access to those with disabilities or who are struggling with literacy. <br>I'm impressed by the Foundation Leadership -- extremely organized, transparent, and accountable. The Leadership is detailed-oriented, with a focus on ensuring that the Foundation's finances are very well managed.

Tias Arms partners with many ground roots organizations within South Africa who tirelessly work to uplift the lives of children effected by HIV and AIDS. Tias Arms supports and invests in those who care for these children, ensuring love, security and a sustainable future. In addition Tias Arms does provide food, shelter, education and is able to serve many children with this model. Tias Arms supports Howick Hospice, Grandmothers against Poverty and AIDS, Never-Never-Land full service school, Khazimula and Hikes children's homes, Waves for Change and St. Josephs Pre-school.93 cents to every dollar goes to the grantees! It is an HONOR to donate to this organization!

Nothing but positive results! I got the paperwork transferring my timeshare out of my name today!!<br>As a skeptic, I wondered if I was throwing my $3500 or so ( I can’t remember the exact cost) out the window, but at age 69 I wanted to clear up my finances and timeshare encumbrance ‘before the problem became my children’s!’ <br>This company was cheaper than the one recommended by Dave Ramsey, (who I trust).<br><br>At every turn they were polite and helpful, and although I retained a tiny bit of skepticism that they would be successful for probably a year, they did everything they said they would, called back at the promised interval, kept me informed, returned calls. <br>I let the process proceed and absorbed their optimism. <br>Here it is 18 months later and not only am I free of this lousy decision to buy a timeshare, but my heirs are free too! <br>My husband wanted to just leave it all in limbo but I’m so glad I went ahead with them! <br><br>Thank you to all the kind staff at ACA who must know they are in a business that others doubt, yet remain firmly confident in their values of honesty and integrity.

I have been fostering and adopting at-risk pups for decades, some with grave medical conditions. I treat them as family and have great relationships with all the rescues I volunteer for and donate to. I work from home, spare no expense, and my pups are always in my sight. After filling the forms and emailing back and forth, I traveled 40 miles to visit the selected PawPrints pup. We hit it off (myself, the PP pup, one of my pups, and his current foster). We visited for quite a while and everything went wonderfully. <br><br>Then comes the home visit... I own a home in a very nice neighborhood. The home inspector came at the agreed-upon time. She greeted my three pups and me, but I instantly sensed some sort of aversion. Her disdain was palpable, something I have never experienced before. I can only guess I reminded her of some sort of personal experience that invoked a psychological trauma. <br><br>She asked about one of my male pups who was a recent adoptee and had not yet been fixed. I replied I wasn't going to unless behavioral issues made it necessary (they never leave my sight). The PP pup was fixed. However, instead of asking me whether I would fix my pup if a problem arose, once she had returned, I received an email stating they rejected my application. As an aside, I later fixed my pup since he did end up pestering one of my aging females.<br><br>Considering the oversupply of poor desperate pups needing a home and the precious time and resources available to help them, Paw Prints has an irrationally high bar for adopters and will waste theirs and your time as a result. They lost an advocate and supporter in me and I advise caution.

I have been interested in the future of Banning Ranch for a number of years, though I did not discover the Banning Ranch Conservancy until mid-2015. This was when I decided to move into a small home that I had inherited in West Newport Beach. I attended a few Conservancy meetings and was encouraged to attend the Coastal Commission meetings in both October 2015 and September 2016. The Conservancy proved passionate and resolute about preserving this large coastal property, which is home to a variety of plants and creatures and was successful in the denial of a large housing project on the site. Now instead, this expansive land parcel will hopefully bring enrichment to the community as a natural open space for all to enjoy. I am encouraged that the Conservancy is continuing its work to bring this vision to fruition. Our very populated coastal communities definitely need open natural spaces for peaceful enjoyment and learning. I look forward to continuing to volunteer with the Conservancy to help in this preservation process.

We adopted Maddy from Pugs N Pals in 2013 and we are still in contact with this wonderful nonprofit! They are a team of caring and devoted people that work to rescue, care for, and find forever homes for pug and pug mix cuties. They have many opportunities throughout the year for pet parents of all breeds to come out and have fun. Our favorite events are picture taking for Valentine’s Day, picture taking with Santa Paws for Christmas, and the absolutely awesome pugtoberfest in autumn. They also offer boarding services so when we go on vacation, we know that our babies will be well taken care. Thank you Pugs N Pals for everything you do! We are so happy that Maddy found her forever home with us!

RROC does amazing work with abandoned reptiles, they work hard on community outreach and education. Sam is a great guy and really cares and they even put on the best Reptile Birthday Parties around!!!!

Outstanding program that is regularly in the top ranked teams in the nation while struggling to find pool space at times as almost all Southern California teams have to deal with. Quality character athletes accomplishing great things, including Olympians. Works within the non profit guildelines in every way measurable according the reports here.

This is such a great nature center. Very well-kept, kid-friendly, eco-friendly, and just beautiful in general! They even have a butterfly house. A great place to take the kids!

My husband received a purple heart, and we were awarded a mortgage free home threw Military Warrior Support Foundation, and to top it off the wonderful Furnishing Hope INC. helped us with 2 new mattresses, a box spring and 2 boxes filled with towels, hand towels, sheets, mattress covers and a quilt for our son. What a blessing!!! Furnishing Hope is a WONDERFUL foundation, we are forever grateful for their support for us and the military in general. This company and the people that work there, (Mrs. Beth) has been so incredibly kind and such a blessing to us. Our hearts are so full. Thank you Furnishing Hope, yall really care!!!!! GREAT COMPANY. This organization has saved my life. I have found their magazine, web site and programs to be informative, helpful, and given me hope. Without the NFA my family still wouldn't believe that I have real pain. I think that the NFA should be recognized for the years of service they have provided the FM community. Electronic Waste Recycling or "GiftMyPC.org helped us with a large ewaste event in Newport Beach CA. They were contacted by our office manager, came out on Saturday, set up gaylord box's for different electronic waste items. Printers in one box, monitors in another and PC were placed on a pallet. They offered hard drive destruction and had a small crusher on site to have each owner witness the destruction of their hard drive. GiftMyPC stayed from 8 am to 3 pm and collected aprox 1900 pounds of waste from the community and the office tenants. The best was that they shared in the profits from the TV's and monitors and gave us a small commission on the PC's. We were very pleased and consider using them again next year and completely satisfied.

It is impossible to describe in a few lines everything that Beckstrand meaning to us but I'll try to do, is that we have a son named Michael Reyes who suffers from a brain tumor extremely dangerous and lethal named Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) or Brain Stem, and according to the doctors he has short time to live and since then we are struggling with all the resources of science to extend its life, For some people we learned about the wonderful work made by Beckstrand and that is how we decided to write to contact them, receiving immediate response by the Director of Development & Communications Kaerie Ray, we explained to her the situation of our son and immediately they were moved and put all their efforts and resources to give happiness to our son, and not only to him but also to us, giving us a Christmas that we will never forget. <br>To get started they asked us to send them a wish list of our son, and not only for our son but also from us, to comply with his surprise they contacted a celebrity known as Gilles Marini whom a wonderful day came to our house with his family and with Lil an executive of Beckstrand playing the role of Santa Claus, the gifts were incredible, our child's happiness overflowed everything imaginable, they not only gave him the Wii-U which he dreamed so much and that we never have been able to give, but the best was the magical day that we spent as a family with them, and in addition to many more gifts they also surprised him with tickets to visit Disneyland and California Adventure, also gave him a dinner at one of his favorite restaurants, and cash, as well Backstrand paid our gas bill that we had disconnected for more than six months, moreover Becktsrand through Kaerie Ray keep a warm touch with us. <br>We could say much more about them, but just We know that they are not from this planet, they are true angels who have brought a memorable Christmas at our home and a great happiness to our son that he still remembers and remember forever, they are wonderful!...Thanks BECKSTRAND! <br>Michael's Parents. <br>

TLF makes an impact because its founder, team, and volunteers, live out what they believe and speak. Their words are backed by action. The impact they have affects not only foster youth but their foster families and expands to the greater community. Their model for leadership camps and mentoring is so effective that many other groups are asking for TLF's help. TLF is building up an entire generation one youth at a time.

This group is a 100 % volunteer organization that takes care of Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard service men and women and families. They participate in service recognition programs and provide family support when needed. All donations go directly to the Sea Service ships, squadrons and units they support!

I was denied visitation with my grandchildren shortly after my daughter married a man who is not the father of her children. He started with threats, then the isolation of my daughter, and soon I found myself fighting to see my own flesh and blood. <br>All I could think about was what my grandchildren thought. Did they think I'd forgotten about them or that I stopped loving them? <br>I thought I was alone, until I found Advocates for Grandparent Grandchild Connection. Within 30 minutes I received a call that changed my life. There were others, and talking to people who truly understand can make a difference. <br>We are a group of grandparents who are fighting for the rights of our grandchildren to maintain the loving relationships they've always enjoyed but are suddenly denied when a parent gets angry.

The Orange County Chapter of ARCS Foundation has been in existance since 1999. We are a part of a much larger Organization with 17 chapters throughout the United States and Hawaii. The sole purpose of the organization is to give Achievement Rewards to College Scientists. <br>Every cent of the monies raised go to the Scholars. Our organization supports 20 scholars in 5 schools of Science. <br> This is a great cause which must be funded for research to continue. <br>
