My husband received a purple heart, and we were awarded a mortgage free home threw Military Warrior Support Foundation, and to top it off the wonderful Furnishing Hope INC. helped us with 2 new mattresses, a box spring and 2 boxes filled with towels, hand towels, sheets, mattress covers and a quilt for our son. What a blessing!!! Furnishing Hope is a WONDERFUL foundation, we are forever grateful for their support for us and the military in general. This company and the people that work there, (Mrs. Beth) has been so incredibly kind and such a blessing to us. Our hearts are so full. Thank you Furnishing Hope, yall really care!!!!! GREAT COMPANY. Above and BEYOND.

After reading Dian's perspective as a volunteer, I couldn't have said it better or agree more fully with all she said.
Even after 2 years of volunteering with Furnishing Hope, seeing the joy on the faces of our wounded military heroes and their families when they see their newly furnished home still brings tears to my eyes every time. Their gratitude and appreciation makes it all so worthwhile!
Thank you Beth, for creating Furnishing Hope to support our injured men and women who have served and sacrificed so much for our country. What a rewarding fit to be a Furnishing Hope volunteer—I am able to use my design talent and I love seeing the faces of those families on the receiving end. I can’t think of a more deserving group of people. These men and women have given so much for our freedom, and more often than not, they are left with nothing once they return to civilian life. Sleeping on a blow up mattress is certainly no way to live.
Kudos to Beth and Robyn, who tirelessly coordinate each job. The volunteers pull together all the elements to transform the living quarters into beautiful home environment that lifts the spirit.
We cannot forget our injured veterans. They deserve to live with dignity. The more that Furnishing Hope receives in monetary donations, the more men and women can be helped. Check out Furnishing Hope, Inc. on Facebook where you can “meet” the military families whose homes have been transformed. You’ll also be able to go behind the scenes to see what it takes to accomplish these projects.
Please consider a monetary donation or gift card to help sponsor a future job—you can feel good knowing your donation is offering the hope that these families desperately need. You can find out more and donate here: www.furnishinghope.org

I have been acquainted with Beth Phillips for more than two years while working in my capacity as the local administrator-advocate of the Army's Wounded Warrior Program. Beth is indeed a remarkable person who has done great things for our population of Wounded Warrior Soldiers who have been medically retired from the US Army as a result of being severely disabled. Working with her has been a phenomenal experience. Beth and her crew have entered the homes of at least a dozen soldiers and each and every time the results were proven to be no less than astounding. The services provided by Beth and her crew are second to none and have been deeply appreciated by all. Beth is extremely organized and professional and is always able to form a diligent and capable crew that happily gets the job done far above and beyond the wildest dreams and expectations of the recipients who have all been ecstatic and deeply impacted by the kindness, generosity and expertise of all. Thank you Beth for you and your immensely talented crew for all that you have done for us. You certainly have earned our respect and admiration more than you will ever know. We stand together and salute you.

When I tough I had no porpuse in life and that I had failed as a Soldier, Mother, Wife, Friend, sister, and daighter, Furnishing Hope came and changed all. I proudly served in the Army honorably for 9 years and 6 months and recently got medically discharge in 2015. I saw many things no human being should see, but I have try to to live with it day after day. All I knew and lived was Army, I wanted to make a career out of it. Never that I imagine that I was going to be Medically discharge. Since my separation of the military my whole world came down, I didnt see a purpose in life, Financially my familie`s life turned 360 degrees. Me, my husband, my 3 children and my dog were homeless for 3 months. On February 2015 we finally found a place that was partially furnished but the furniture was in bad conditions. We little by little starting picking up stuff from the dumpster and borrowing stuff from friends. Until I met an amazing man named Charles P Cooluris who works as the VA AW2 cordinator who saw our necessity and told us about this amazing non profit organization called FURNISHING HOPE. Within a few week, Robin contacted us :). On October 1, 2015, our entire house furniture got renovated :). From wall decor, to curtains to completed bedroom set, dinning room set and living room set. Our house was transformed from a mix matched, incomplete and undesireable home to a luxurious and most desireable Home. Furnishing Hope gave me Hope to live again and start a new life in my new furnished home. I am truly greatful for everything Beth, Robin and all workers and volunteers did for me and my family. We were truly blessed by this organization. The smile and happiness I saw in my familys face is priceless. Thank you Furnishing Hope.
