Spectrum Charter School has been a blessing for our son who is diagnosed with moderate Autism. We have seen such a difference in his confidence and anxiety since transitioning from his school district over one year ago. He looks forward to going to school each day because of the unique programs, the opportunity to volunteer in the community and the wonderful staff.
My son joined Spectrum last year and I cannot say enough about this wonderful school and staff! It was such a gift to find a school setting where he feels he can be himself. Tourette's Syndrome & ADHD made mainstream school very difficult for him to manage successfully. At Spectrum, the staff and teachers offer tremendous support to each student. Students are encouraged to strive for academic and personal goals, utilizing their strengths and supporting their challenges to help make each day successful. The community partnership programs offer hands-on teaching for everyday life as well as future employment skills. It is inspiring how the staff and teachers work as a team, continually thinking outside-the-box and have created this unique academic environment for our children. This school has brought hope and self-esteem back into my son's life. I could not imagine a more ideal setting for my child.
