Causes: Arts & Culture
Mission: Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center is an arts, education, and cultural oasis for western Pennsylvania and the surrounding tri-state region. Located in a beautiful park setting in Midland (Beaver County) Pennsylvania, it is home to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and Henry Mancini Arts Academy. Lincoln Park is proud to be a member of the National Alliance for Musical Theater. Since Lincoln Park first opened its doors in June, 2006, its mission has been to strengthen the cultural, educational, and economic vitality of the tri-state region by making high-quality arts and education programs available, accessible, and affordable for everyone.
Results: Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center programs continue to invigorate and inspire the tri-state community and education thousands of students. The outreach of LPPAC's resident artists continue to expand to include more deserving children from some of the region's most impoverished communities who may not otherwise be even offered any arts-infused opportunities.
Target demographics: 30,000+ annual audience members from PA/OH/WV, students in Grades 7-12 engaged in an arts-infused education, and youth and adults enriched through arts lessons.
Direct beneficiaries per year: More than 700 students, hundreds of youth and adults embracing the arts through Henry Mancini Arts Academy and 30,000+ audience members who regularly patronize the performances in our Mainstage and Blackbox theaters.
Geographic areas served: Midland (Beaver County), PA and the surrounding Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia tri-state region.
Programs: Musical and dramatic theatrical performances, concerts, recitals and arts exhibitions.
