Wonderful organization. So helpful with the overwhelming number of strays that get dumped on us here in the country. Highly recommend and appreciative!
I am extremely grateful to this organization and what they do in our community for the kitties. I’ve adopted 2 kittens from rescue situations from them. She is so passionate about what she does. Humans like this are hard to find these days.
This is a thankless job and she does it without all the accolades that should accompany it. I know personally the sacrifices that’s made for this organization. They deserve more than 5 stars.
I cannot thank them enough for my 2 new family members.
Altered Tails has helped my neighborhood so much this year. Amanda has fixed all of my community cats, as well as many others that live on my street. She was at my house trapping when she learned from the neighbors that someone a few houses down moved out and abandoned multiple cats and kittens. She quickly took action and worked on getting those cats trapped and altered as well, and even fostered and adopted out some of the kittens. Before I reached out to her I was completely overwhelmed by the seemingly endless amount of kittens that would show up on my porch, but now I can take comfort knowing that all of them are fixed and are safer and healthier because of it and no more kittens have to needlessly suffer. Her efforts are invaluable to our community
In challenging times, the Altered Tails Project has been a tremendous support for me, assisting with the neutering of one cat and the spaying of another through their program for those receiving government assistance. I am truly thankful for this nonprofit organization, which has positively impacted many people I know, all because I chose to share my experience. The woman leading the project is exceptionally compassionate and makes the entire process seamless. I can’t express enough gratitude for their contributions to the community. Thank you, Altered Tails Project; I sincerely hope you continue your invaluable work and kindness for many years to come!
My son and I came across two beautiful little kittens, bright blue eyes, amazing little personalities that were left behind by their owners. I contacted a friend right away who then reached out to altered tails project that night. They said they would be at my place first thing in the morning to get the kittens. one kitten was in really bad shape with a rectal prolapse . We brought the kittens home , made them comfortable for the night and right away the next morning they were picked up.
One kitten was fostered right away and possibly adopted by that family. The other kitten with the prolapse went to the clinic that day to be seen. I seen a post a few weeks later where the same baby had a medical issue again and they sent the kitten right away for treatment.
Out of the kindness of their hearts they did what needed to be done for the two kittens. I seen they needed financial help due to the one kittens medical issue but they made sure the kitten was taken care of no matter what. They Gave the kittens a chance to have a beautiful life .
Altered Tails has absolutely made a positive impact! You TNRd several cats from my daughter’s neighborhood, and you trapped a mama cat with 6 newborn babies at my son’s place of work at Lowe’s. These babies would not have had a chance if it weren’t for you! I know of many other kitties that you have tirelessly helped. Because of your efforts, many feral births have been prevented! Thank you!!
