<br><br>To the Combat Control Foundation,<br><br>In gratitude for letting me attend Upper Canyon Outreach!!!<br><br>This experience was far more than just a retreat. What happened at Upper Canyon was personal, powerful, and necessary. Every man there walked away with something they didn’t know they were missing—but absolutely needed.<br><br>There’s a kind of quiet magic at Upper Canyon Outfitters. It’s not just the place—it’s the program Cassy and Brian have built. Even as someone who grew up with horses and the cowboy life, I found a healing there that hit different. It came at the right time, and in the right way.<br><br>Part of that healing, honestly, was being with teammates again. Some old friends, some I’d never crossed paths with before. That shared bond—being with your people again, especially outside of war and without the uniform—does something good for the soul.<br><br>I’ve said it before: my family raised me for the first 20 years of my life. Combat Control and war raised me for the next 20. This community is my family, and seeing our brothers smile again, laugh again, and take a breath—that means everything.<br><br>Thank you for keeping this mission alive. Please keep pushing.
