Mission: Improve the lives of individuals with disabilities or special needs through equine assisted activities.
Programs: During the year ended december 31, 2014, the organization provided therapeutic horseback riding services to individuals with disabilities. For the year, 183 riders participated in the program. The hippotherapy program, which uses the horse as a therapy tool and is one-on-one with a therapist, offered 32 slots in 2014, while the therapeutic riding program offered 314 slots in 2014. During the year ended december 31, 2014, the organization received approximately 48 hours of donated horse usage valued at $1,296 and contributed arena usage valued at $32,800, all of which are direct program expenses but are not included in program expenses in this tax return per irs regulations. During 2014, volunteers donated more than 15,000 hours of their time aiding in the riding program and various additional activities. The organization also received donated office space valued at $6,000.
