Mission: Madelia Community Hospital Foundation exists to be stewards of donations given to support the state of the art healthcare services provided by Madelia Community Hospital.
Target demographics: promote health
Geographic areas served: the Madelia Area
Programs: funding for the Madelia Community Hospital equipment and services. We also provide community health and wellness activities to make our area healthier. Each year we provide two Healthcare scholarships to area High school students, hold Bike Safety activities, provide bike helmets at a reduced cost., and work with the community to promote health. The Madelia River Run 5K is held each July as a way to promote fitness. In addition the Foundation provides a concussion program to the local high school to protect our area athletes. Doing community outreach is an important aspect to keep our population healthy. However we understand that having Healthcare in our community is critical and the Foundation is here to help raise funds to make sure that Madelia Community Hospital is here for many generations.
