Causes: Child Abuse Prevention, Crime & Law, Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Sexual Abuse Prevention, Sexual Assault Services
Mission: To reduce the incidence of and vulnerability to sexual assault, child abuse and human trafficking by providing education and prevention skills to community children and adults, and to alleviate the trauma experienced by survivors of these crimes by providing direct services.
Target demographics: survivors of sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking
Geographic areas served: northern Santa Barbara County
Programs: ChildSAFE school-based prevention education, Word on the Street - which focuses on the many issues that surround human trafficking, and Building Resiliency Through Art, which helps survivors express their feelings and explore ways to heal through art.
