Mission: Comunidad connect supports nicaraguan communities by matching social, economic and environmental opportunities with local and global resources.
Programs: Sustainable tourism - hosted over 500 international volunteers and students on service learning trips designed to meet nicaraguan community needs while providing experiential learning opportunities. These visits also engaged 2500 local volunteers.
health and water- nica agua - providing water filters and access to clean drinking water to 5,000 direct beneficiaries and generating 8,000+ hours of community service. Nicaragua community health connection - a new health clinic in los robles nicaragua was constructed and recently opened serving more than 4,000 rural residents.
sports park - a renovated sports complex providing space for informal recreation and organized leagues for men, women, and children with over 454 games played annually, more than 1000 engaged athletes, and more than 200 teams.
