Mission: Counseling and Consultation Services is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the highest quality, innovative, behavioral health services to children, youth, adults and families in order to assist them to achieve their full potential and become productive members of society.
Geographic areas served: Providing the best care and support for the youth in our care. Whether that is Residential care, Group Home care, Outpatient Services, or Foster Care. CCS, Inc is committed to serving the youth within our communities and throughout the state of Tennessee.
Programs: Steppenstone & Summit -a closed treatment continuum, treating teenage males (13-17) experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. Our campus is a residential facility licensed by the dept. Of mental health for 33 boys. The center provides a high staff to resident ratio along with state of the art technology to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Indian Ridge - located in Johnson City, TN providing room for 12 youth. There are two boys per room in an effort to integrate them back to a more family like environment. Clients attend community based treatment and have the opportunity to receive public education.
Sunset House - located in Jonesborough, TN is a family boarding home licensed for 3 boys. This program allows the boys to seek and obtain employment, attend social activities, and live in a more home like setting. Clients attend community based treatment and have the opportunity to receive public education.
Kingsport Outpatient - located in Kingsport, TN is designed to address each individual's needs in an environment that provides intensive therapeutic intervention with the identified client and their family support system. Each individual and their families will participate in up to 7 hours of treatment services per week, based upon their needs. Out patient services works with small children and adolescents that have sexual behavior problems. We offer risk assessments, psychosexual assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.

I have worked for this organization for many years and I would not want to be anywhere else. The family environment is promoted with employees as well as the clients. It is a great place that you can see people who love their job and love making a difference in young men's lives.

This was my first professional job out of college. In hind sight this was suppose to be my steppingstone job to a probation job. However, I have been here going on 17 years. During this 17 years I was inspired to be a special education teacher, and I currently work as a teacher here. This is my passion, and unless God wants me to move on, I look forward to staying here until I retire. I hope to use my talent to inspire and encourage the clients I work with daily.
