This is the greatest place. It is like dog heaven. Jayne Knox has the biggest heart in the universe for these animals. She works tirelessly to rescue and care for all of the animals. I can't say enough positive things about the organization and the people running it. I got a dog from Jayne and have taken one to her that was nearly starved to death and another that was sick and not being cared for. She is the best.
I am honored to be a volunteer with this fabulous organization from the ground up. I've worked closely in animal rescue thru the years with both the Director & their Dog behaviourist. Both Jayne & Shell are Amazing with animals. I love the property the sanctuary is built on and the entire concept of the tiny homes! It's a wonderful way to shelter dogs in transition to new homes with so much love, freedom and less stress on them. I can not wait to see this place grow into the Awesome rescue it's designed to be!

Beautiful sanctuary where dogs can roam free (under supervision), jump in the pond during the summer, and otherwise housed in tiny homes until their furever home comes along. They are well taken care of by loving individuals with years of experience who cater to their every need. They rely mostly on donations from individuals.
The work they do here is amazing. Jayne, Michelle,Claudia, and Gary put so much into this organization to make it the best it can be. The animals are well cared for and very happy! It's a great place to volunteer!
I can't even begin to say enough about Liberty Acres and what they are accomplishing in the time I have been involved, nothing short of a miracle. The dogs are loved and so well taken care of . Jayne and Michelle are phenomenal. I urge all to give of your time and money if you can. This place is a godsend for all unwanted dogs . They have stolen my heart for sure
A much needed no kill animal sanctuary that is an asset to the local community. Taking in and caring for animals who are being acclimated in a home atmosphere making them more easily adopted.
Jane does so much to help the animals in our community. Very thankful for this organization to help the animals in our area.
Liberty Acres United is a awesome sanctuary for dogs. The dogs love their tiny houses and all the Acres they have to run on!
I think it's simply amazing what the team is doing here at Liberty Acres. I have seen dogs that were at another area shelter simply blossom and grow here, to the point where they are completely different dogs, for the better I should add.
I sincerely hope that everyone who sees this amazing organization is able to help out, be it $1 or $1000. There is a bright and amazing future ahead for Liberty Acres United
I have donated to, and worked with, numerous animal non-profiit groups over the past several years. Of them all, none have cared as much about the critters as Liberty Acres United. This small, but power, Sanctuary manages to do with minimal resources what some of the biggest shelters in the area simply can't do. The key is the people, as in Liberty Acres has some of the most amazing people .
