Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health & Crisis Intervention, Mental Health Disorders, Residential Mental Health Treatment, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Our Mission of the Northwest Children's Home is to provide quality rehabilitative, and therapeutic and educational services for children and families.
Target demographics: Children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 100 residents and 50 students
Geographic areas served: Our 22 acre campus with 4 homes for children provides a safe and nurturing environment. We care for children who have been placed with us who the foster care system has not worked out. We provide treatment, education and development skills to all children placed with us.
Programs: Northwest Children's Home is the oldest Children's residential program in Idaho. We provide an opportunity thru therapy and education to successfully transition back into the community. We focus on gaining new insights, learn self-responsibility and manage their own behaviors.
