Programs: Habitat: restoration and enhancement projects in the snohomish and stillaguamish river basins and island county watershed. This includes monitoring and nutrient enhancement. Monitoring of vegetation, noxious weeds, in-stream changes and water quality. In 2014 we planted more than 9,245 native plants on 21 acres along local rivers and streams involving more than 2,592 volunteer hours valued at $69,258.
education: education and outreach to students and citizens of snohomish, king and island counties of washington state about salmon, salmon habitat and watersheds. We also attended 15 outreach events in 2014 and engaged 1,230 students in classrooms and on-the-ground restoration activities. Activities involved 700 volunteer hours valued at $18,704.
