Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Human Services, Job Training, Nonprofit Management, Personal Social Services, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Our mission is to develop strong leaders for business and community engagement, with an emphasis on underserved youth and young adults in low-to-moderate income communities. We accomplish this through training and education in four core areas: (1) leadership development, (2) financial literacy, (3) entrepreneurship, and (4) social responsibility, including public policy awareness.
Target demographics: youth and young adults
Direct beneficiaries per year: 250 youth and young adults
Geographic areas served: The Barnett Center in North Orange County and at schools in LA and Orange Counties.
Programs: workshops, summer camp and after school programs for leadership development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
