The Community Foundation of the Florida Keys plays a vital role in the work of numerous organizations in the Florida Keys. CFFK has been especially responsive following recent emergencies such as the Covid pandemic and the devastating impacts of Cat-4 Hurricane Irma in 2017. CFFK has helped many groups get back on their feet quickly. The impact has been immeasurable.
Volunteering with CFFK is very rewarding. It is wonderful to see the joy on the faces of the organizations when we present a check! And even better when we see the results in the community. :)
As a recent board member joining the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys I have found this organization to be extremely helpful to our middle keys. With matching contributions both Switlik Elementary School and Marathon Middle/High School will have a funded rewards program for exhibiting good behavior and achieving good grades.
