Mission: The Mosaic Community Development Center is a tuition-free, restorative practice program for underserved Jeannette public school students. Mosaic staff combines extensive local experience and national expertise to mobilize the community toward equity. We know how to turn research into action. We have already saved Jeannette students dozens of days of missed class time and successfully challenged long-term suspensions to return students to school. Mosaic can assist students and families in navigating public school administrative challenges and academic difficulties.
Results: We have restored more than 100 days of learning by engaging disenfranchised students and challenging school exclusion. Our student and family advocacy has returned dozens of students to the classroom and improved school policy regarding suspensions and expulsions.

Programs: The Mosaic Community Development Center seeks to restore the social and economic vitality of Jeannette through strengthening our schools, empowering our families, and creating job opportunities. We seek to correct racial and economic inequality through innovative training, healing conflict resolution services, academic support. programs, and creating sustainable partnerships with regional organizations.
