Hi my name is Tyler Fletcher and I was a boy from 2018-2022 and I am currently 20 years old. When I came to the boys home I struggled with a lot of things but was constantly steered in the right direction by the whole staff. No matter what I did I was always supported by the home from sports to academics to what I would do after I graduated they always helps and provided great feedback. Even after I left the home I was always checked up on and if I ever needed help they would do their best to help. It is because of the home that I have the success in both my military career and personal life. I love them all and am very grateful for everything they have done and are still doing for me.
My name is Jess Campbell I lived in westview from 2018 to 2020. I came to westview with anger problems as well as a fighting problem. Steve, Tammy, Robbie, Angelene, Doug, Dennise, Terry, and Adrienne are the people that helped change the way I manage my feelings and helped me think clearly through the problems I had. Without those amazing people in my life I would have failed at life. They not only helped me when I was in the home but also I after I had turned 18 I came to them ask for help. They not only helped me find a job but the helped me get an apartment and gave me advice where I needed it. I love all of them dearly and with out them there’s no telling where I would be right now. I still keep in contact with them sometimes I go and have dinner with Angelene and Robbie. This is truly a place I can count on.
my name is jaden martinez and i’m telling you about my experience at westview. Westview is a great place to start getting on the right path the amount of love and care that are in the staffs heart is amazing they teach u how to do just about everything i was there for a little over a year and it was a very positive place the caregivers truly love and care for you. You can play sports, take care of an animal or play online games with other boys that are there one of the best places to be and learn.
I was in the boys home for about 3 years and this place did not only help me make brothers for a lifetime but also a huge family that I know I can count on for the years to come. This place not only taught me skills that I use today but also taught me how to cope with emotions. I am forever grateful for this place and for this place I probably would have never got into OSU. Again I am beyond thankful for all the office workers, counselors, donators, and house parents.
Westview boys home will forever be my home. I came to Westview when I had nowhere else to go. The staff and Caretakers took me in immediately, as if I had always been one of their own. Without Westview I don’t know where I’d be today. Westview Boy’s home molded me into the man I am today and I will forever be in their debt for giving me the life, chance, and family that a young boy deserved.

I was a local minister and worked alongside Westview for 7 years. In that time, the two things I saw the most from their staff was intentionally and hospitality. They put a high premium on taking care of their own.
They are really good about getting their boys involved in activities that will better them physically, spiritually, academically, and socially.
Westview staff genuinely cares about the young men they work with. They work hard at helping the boys build better futures, and they also work diligently to better improve themselves as house parents and staff. The Lord is using Westview boys home to bring healing and direction in powerful ways!

I was severely abused here Mentally physically and sexually. I was used as child labor that I was never paid for. I was told they could do anything they wanted to me because nobody cared about me. I have several PTSD from my time as a hostage.
If you care about your children do not place them here.
I lived at WestView Boys Home from 2020-2021 my house parents were the best this goes to Steve and Tammy Young they were like a mother and father to me I got dismissed because I would heed to their warnings to not watch pornography and eventually they said enough was enough it's a great place for young boys to learn how to grow my house dad gavee a phone when I left... I still have that phone to this day one day I'll return the favor and point young boys in the right way. God bless
My name is Gerald Ray Payne, and I lived at Westview Boys Home for several years in the 1970's and 80's. I have had a brain injury since leaving, but I have to say that Westview Boys Home has been the best thing which has ever happened to me in my entire life. The Christian way of living which I learned there, has helped me in every phase of my life, and still does today.
I would like to say a special thank-you to Burl and Y'vonne Butler, my first house parents at Sweetwater cottage. They were like the parents that I never got to have. They are both such quality human beings, and will be in heaven someday. Thank-you Burl, and Y'vonne for everything you have done in my life, Gerald Ray Payne (916-212-8792c)
