Working with Lemondrop Productions has been a life-changing and eye-opening experience for me. From the animal rescue to the community outreach and food distribution programs to the performing arts programs, Lemondrop Productions has provided me countless opportunities to give back to the community and take care of hundreds of beautiful, happy, and loving animals. The performing arts department gave me unparalleled training and outlets to perform, direct, design, and stage manage alongside exceptional artists with a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, some with professional experience in the entertainment industry. The food distribution and community outreach programs introduced me to a world that I would have never experienced had I not worked with Lemondrop Productions, and allowed me to give back to those in need and make valuable personal connections with a diverse range of people within the community. And lastly, the highlight of Lemondrop Productions would be the animal rescue and sanctuary that I volunteered with has been a incredible and rewarding experience. Working long hours every day in many different conditions to feed, care for, and nurture over 150 animals is no cake walk by any means, but the experiences and the mutual love with the animals and seeing their gratitude and happiness when they are nurtured and unconditionally loved makes it all worth it. The animals on the sanctuary bring me and our company so much joy and satisfaction, and ensuring their comfort, safety, happiness, and overall well-being is and always will be our number one priority, and when some of the animals are adopted out, it is beautiful to see the forming of a loving connection between the animals and their new owners. I am a professionally trained and experienced 22 year old actor, director, stage manager, and writer originally from California and now based in New York City, with experience working in all aspects of theatrical productions from high school theatre to Off-Broadway productions, and being exposed to opportunities down in Tallahassee, Florida with Lemondrop Productions is something so unique, special, and rewarding and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Creating life-long connections with the community and being able to care for and love all these animals on the sanctuary is something that cannot be replicated anywhere else, and I take great pride in the work that I do with the company. I can only hope that I continue to work with the company both on-site and long-distance work while helping the company to grow as we care for more animals and people, and provide the same beautiful and powerful experiences and work for our future community of volunteers.
I have been with Lemondrop since it first humble beginnings -- just wanting to help people and animals, with no other goal in mind. Lemondrop has remained the only nonprofit (that I personally know of), that hasn't become greedy or self serving. Lemondrop's goal is STILL to help people and animals more than fourteen years after Lemondrop's inception. We work toward that goal every day, both our two full time volunteers, and our volunteers who give so much of their time and energy in each of the states we operate (Florida, California and Minnesota).
Lemondrop is an awesome organization that does so much for people. They fill food boxes, give away free clothes every third Saturday of the month, and so much more. It’s a great place to volunteer, and the people who run it have a clear idea of what they want to achieve.
I have absolutely loved working with Lemondrop. They selflessly serve the community and it makes me so happy to be able to help those in need.
Lemondrop does such amazing work in the local community. They help so many people, and truly care for the animal residents in their care. Please take a moment to support Lemondrop!

I truly love Lemondrop, all that they do, and all that they stand for. I love to spend my time volunteering to help them help people and animals. There’s really not enough wonderful things I can say about Lemondrop and their team. If you can, please get involved, donate or volunteer. They’re one of the few nonprofits that actually does what they say.
My husband and I have been volunteering for Lemondrop for a couple of years. I pick up donations and help to drop them off to drop boxes in Tallahassee. They are a great help to the community and always need new volunteers. It has been nice working alongside them to feed people in need.
Working with Lemondrop has been an amazing experience. They truly have a heart for the community and go out of their way to help people and animals.
Amazing organization! They help so many people with food, clothing, even finding housing at times. They go above and beyond for the people of our community.
The Lemondrop community recently helped me rehome my pleco and have given him a loving home! They are always quick to help, super responsive, and overall very kind in all interactions with them ❤️
Lemondrop Sanctuary has been a great help to not only my family, but numerous families and fur friends who need help or rescue from bad situations. I love watching updates on their Facebook page, for the growth in progress, and love that they’ve been able to get a storage and “go-to” spot for those who need help to come pick up items. I know they work to get the help to people directly as well, when they are unable to get out for themselves. Not only are they helpful, but they are compassionate and kind. I’ve had the great pleasure of being able to talk with both ladies at length and have been able to get to know them a bit. Two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! I am grateful for all Lemondrop does to help the community and surrounding areas! And all their volunteers are super helpful and kind-hearted also.

Lemondrop has truly been a help to me and my family with their Wishlist give away! They provide such great care for the animals they care for, as well as the people they connect with to help! If you're able to donate to this Sanctuary, please do! All of it helps the rescues and their efforts in the community!
I am so grateful for the Lemon drop community outreach. Large families like mine have been hard to sustain, thanks to lemon drop i have a little less weight to carry with the material & moral support that Lemon drop offers. Thank you all for your hard work & dedication it truly makes a difference!!
I've been Volunteering for Lemondrop for last year. They are very important to Gadsden and Leon County and surrounding counties. I specifically recieve donations from different companies that in return myself volunteering for Lemondrop hand out to elders in need. So not only do they do an outstanding job as a nokill shelter for animals they also reach many elderly seniors with much needed food. Lemondrop is ran by great people and anyone would be lucky to help them in any manner. So step up and help! They need it.

Lemondrop Animal Sanctuary provides an extraordinarily compassionate haven for animals and works wonders through their community outreach initiatives! The team’s unwavering dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating animals shines through in everything they do. Each animal is treated with love and respect, ensuring they thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. These folks also extend sincere efforts into the community, providing essential support to those in need. Lemondrop has touched so many lives so monumentally. Fully transparent operations, fully independent, and fully AWESOME!
Wonderful non profit that really reaches people in need. They make it easy to be a part of a worthwhile organization that gives back to the community.
I've had the pleasure of knowing and volunteering with Lemondrop for nearly a decade now and the animal rescue and community outreach programs never cease to amaze me. The courage and genuine care and passion that a true non-profit organization like Lemondrop is incredibly rare to come by these days.
I urge anyone introduced to Lemondrop in any way to support, as you are truly without a doubt giving back to a group of people who care for the well being of humans and animals alike, as well as supporting their efforts in making the world a better place.
Lemondrop has been one of the best organizations I have ever volunteered for. Hands down the best support system from an organization who in my opinion seem dedicated at what they do. I am very thankful for being able to be a part of such a wonderful team and look forward to continuing to do so.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the incredible work of Lemondrop Productions, Inc, and I cannot express how impressed I am with this nonprofit organization's dedication to making a positive impact. Lemondrop Productions is a true testament to the power of creativity and community.
One of the first things that struck me about Lemondrop Productions is their unwavering commitment to their community. Through various endeavors, such as their community outreach program and their animal sanctuary, they manage to bring smiles to people's faces.
What truly sets Lemondrop Productions apart, however, is their emphasis on empowering their community. The team behind Lemondrop Productions is nothing short of remarkable. Each person brings their own unique skills and expertise to the table, creating a cohesive unit that breathes life into every project they undertake. Their unwavering determination and genuine enthusiasm are evident in the high-quality work they produce.
Furthermore, Lemondrop Productions' transparency and accountability demonstrate their commitment to responsible nonprofit management. By efficiently using resources and having a clear vision for their projects, they ensure that every donation and contribution makes a significant impact. This level of integrity reaffirms my confidence in supporting and contributing to their cause.
In conclusion, Lemondrop Productions, Inc deserves the highest praise for their exceptional work in bringing joy and empowerment to our communities. Through their creative initiatives, they enrich lives and create positive change. Their dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment are truly inspiring. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting this incredible nonprofit organization in any way possible.
I have been blessed to witness the good that Lemondrop does for the animals and the community for several years now. The energy and effort the Lemondrop team puts forth is amazing and inspiring. The animals are so sweet and kind and thankful they have a safe place to call home. The world needs more people like my friends at Lemondrop.

The kindness of Lemon drop is evident in the care and dedication to the animals. They work day and night to provide for the animals in their care. It's an amazing and beautiful thing.
I’ve just started volunteering with Lemondrop and have been treated so kindly from the start. Bre communicates with me no matter what and the one fellow volunteer I’ve met so far, Emiliano, was so helpful and sweet to me. I hope to be able to do more good for this organization, I really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of it.
Volunteering at Lemondrop has been a greatly positive and fulfilling experience. The organizers at Lemondrop are not only kind, but they ensure that volunteers feel supported and appreciated. I am thankful that I can give back to my community through Lemondrop!
I’ve been a full-time volunteer with Lemondrop, for 12 years. Lemondrop endeavors to help those who need it most whether people or animals and are successful in doing just that. I believe fully in the Lemondrop mission and purpose!
Been volunteering with this organization since 2011. Their passion for their work is unmatched. Compassion for animals and for people. Here's to another excellent year with Lemondrop.

Lemondrop is definitely one of a kind! Most non-profit groups have a niche or specialty group that they try to serve, but Lemondrop tries their best to help everyone and everything they possibly can, humans and animals alike❤ They go above and beyond to help the community. They posted a wish list type giveaway and I didn't expect them to be able to help me, but I thought it was worth a shot. I originally thought it was like a contest where they would choose the most deserving, and while needed help, didn't expect them to be so incredibly kind and bless our family with a drill/ driver combo set AND a carpet shampooer. The items we were gifted went above and beyond my hopes, and one of their volunteers actually even gave my son a bicycle so he could get back and forth to work until he gets his license. I look forward to being able to give back to them, I don't have any extra money, but we are not afraid of hard work and their organization deserves more support and recognition. Thank you again to Lemondrop and all of it's volunteers
We faced a challenging time a while back and needed to foster our 31 year old Blue Crown Conyer. Finding Lemondrop was the miracle we needed.
Lemondrop provided a safe space and the perfect environment for our little Stoney Bird. While he transitioned after being there a little over a year, we could not have been more pleased with the care and love they provided.
Volunteering with Lemondrop has changed my life. I have been with them for many years now, through their victories, successes, trials and hardships. There is very little in my life, that has been more rewarding than my Volunteer time with them. Spending time working with the amazing, rescued and rehabilitated animals, sorting through donations or distributing donations to those in need. Every aspect of Lemondrop touches my heart. If you have the ability, please support the work they do!

I have been Volunteering with Lemondrop for years. I have not yet met another organization with the ethics, goals, diligence and passion for their work as the people who Volunteer with and run Lemondrop. None of the Volunteers are paid, so everyone who does work there has to do it just because they are passionate. All of their donations go directly into their two main programs (the farm sanctuary and the community outreach). They are totally transparent with their funds, unlike many rescues and unethical national organizations are nowadays.
The animals are well cared for always, their lives are treasured and each animal is given the best care possible. I am especially attached to their beautiful flock of exotic birds, all of which have amazing rescue stories. Many had to be rehabilitated after arrival due to stress, negligence or abuse.
The community outreach side reaches over 1000 people in the local communities each week. Which is insane, considering that they are one of the LOWEST funded local nonprofits in the region.
Lemondrop deserves so much more support than it receives. I encourage everyone to take the $5 per month sponsorship challenge, and send your donations to somewhere that the money will ACTUALLY be used for the purpose it is intended.
I met the people of Lemondrop outside a store during one of their adoption/fundraising events. I’d just purchased a new home and was thinking of buying chickens and donkeys. They were very knowledgeable and I learned about their wonderful rescue and home for animals. I set up a monthly donation and was educated on the needs and lifestyles of the animals I was considering adopting. Unfortunately I did not end up adopting any animals, but am continually thankful that Lemondrop is there for those in need. They do such a wonderful job there. I have no doubt the animals who call Lemondrop home would not have survived without such a great and caring home.
The kindness that has been shown to me has lifted me and my loved ones! We just received a beautiful wheel chair for my friend. I know her world will open back up with the "wonder chair!"
Receiving unconditional kindness, compassion and help from someone is the gift the friendship is the blessing!
Thank you so very much this is life changing.
I have donated to Lemondrop for some time and was asked to volunteer about the time I retired and have enjoyed lending a hand and getting to know more about Lemondrop and what they do. Their success just shows you can do much when your heart is in the right place.
Lemondrop helps abused animals have a safe and a forever home. They take abused and neglected animals and show them love and patients and give them a loving place where they can finally feel safe and be fed. They are also providing food for needy families in the community. They help feed over 600 or more families weekly. Lemondrop is a non profit organization and they do all that they do without any salary and they put all of there needs in GOD'S hands and sweet Jesus. This makes them such a great organization.
This non-profit has been and is the best organization I’ve volunteered for! Everyone that volunteers is so kind, cheerful, and ready to help any and every animal and person they can.
2021 is the 10th year anniversary of the formation of Lemondrop Productions, Inc. I have been a full-time volunteer for the past 10 years. As everything, Lemondrop has grown and evolved and become better over the years. We have a Community Outreach where we partner with several churches/businesses to get free food where it's needed most. Lemondrop continues to be a permanent sanctuary to nearly 100 onsite animals. It is hard work and oft times thankless, except for the grateful animals and thankful people who have been touched by Lemondrop's extended hand through volunteers. Additionally, all of our volunteers are just that, volunteers without pay or compensation. We have learned to do a lot on very little income.
If you are passionate about helping animals, especially senior/special needs animals and people, especially children in challenged situations, then please consider supporting Lemondrop monthly. Even $5 or $10 per month helps GREATLY! Every penny matters.
We have been receiving donations for distributions from Lemondrop for about two years. They are outstanding in their personalities, cares & concerns and always polite.
The donations we have received from them have been very much needed and very much appreciated by the people we serve. These donations have been a great help in meeting the needs of many less fortunate families/people in this area. We pray and hope that the donations keep coming to these needed communities.
Most everybody loves animals of some kind, but Lemondrop loves and cares for them in a very special way, rescuing and caring for those in need with unconditional love, every day, in all kinds of weather, and their only payment is the reward of animal kisses! It's got to be hard work caring for all those animals and keeping the sanctuary in good condition. If you want to help some very worthy people to do good for animals and people, Lemondrop is a certainly a worthy charity.
I have purchased from and donated to Lemondrop a number of times. They are wonderful, kind and caring. If you are able to help with the expenses they incur from caring for these precious animals by making a donation I encourage you to do so. Let’s help speak for the ones without voices.
When I first came to know Lemondrop, I recall telling Bre that I did not know how much support I could offer as I was stretched very thin with other groups I was helping. But when I saw the love and dedication they were giving to so many people and animals, I just had to dig deeper.
Any support for Lemondrop could not go to a better organization.

The people involved are wonderful, hardworking people who really care for the animals. All the love for this group.
Lemondrop is an amazing farm animal rescue/sanctuary, as well as, home to lots of rescue dogs and birds. The volunteers dedicate their lives to these animals and their community. It is a wonderful place!

This sanctuary is so amazing! They do everything and anything for the animals in their care. The full time volunteers live for the animals. They also do so much good for the people in their community as well! They deserve all the support they can get!
I have been donating to Lemondrop for a few years through my coampany. They are very easy to work with and so appreciative of anything that we give them. I have come to see how amazing and dedicated and hardworking they are. Despite constant setbacks they never give up. Their mission to save and care for their animals is unwavering.
Lemondrop is an amazing organization that provides much-needed support to the community and a safe home for animals. The volunteers put their hearts into their work, and their dedication shows!
When we needed a home for our conure, Lemondrop was there to provide him a quality interactive environment. Because of the time they have spent with him, I can say he's a happier bird and has even made new bird friends.
Lemondrop was there for us when we could no longer devote the necessary time to our parrot companion of 30+ years. The angels at Lemondrop welcomed him and have provided wonderful care for him. Good people are hard to find, but you'll find them at Lemondrop.
PLEASE SUPPORT LEMONDROP WHO FEED SO MANY AMAZING ANIMALS THAT NEED SAVING AND NOBODY ELSE CAN TAKE CARE OF THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO DO THIS AMAZING WORK IN TALLAHASSEE AND THEY NEED ALL THE SUPPOR THAT THEY CAN GET PLEASE SUPPORT THEM AND HELP THEM CONTINUE TO BE DOING THEIR AMAZING WORK FOREVER THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE LEMONDROP!!!!!
They do really gd work with people, distributing bread n sweets to families, homeless and people who need. Evn students who cant afford alot of food of stuff and still be able to buy there books.
LD does amazing work! Two years ago they brought 60 turkeys to the veterans recovery housing for Thanksgiving. So grateful for this nonprofit!
These are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. I first saw them at one of their fundraisers at a store, and stopped to talk to them and ask them more about their organization. Their volunteers were extremely passionate and answered all my questions thoroughly. Then I went online and saw their facebook, website and guidestar pages... when I'm ready to donate this is the local organization that I plan to send my money too. They work hard, even though they aren't one of the larger nonprofits, and all the money goes directly toward their programs.
Hey it's Stacy!!!
I LOVE LEMONDROP! They do amazing work for the animal community! There's literally like nobody else like them in Tallahassee.
Keep up the good work!
The people of Lemondrop are very passionate and dedicated to their cause as well as bringing smiles to faces.
Volunteering with Lemondrop for the past year has been such a rewarding experience. Not everyone is willing to provide assistance to people in need, let alone animals in need. I’m grateful to have found such an inspiring organization run by such devoted people.
Lemondrop is a very wonderful non profit organization that cares so much about the animals that they care for and they also help feed needy families. I am very honored to know these wonderful people and I am proud to be one of the volunteers. Unfortunately Hurricane Michael did allot of damage at the rescue and they are trying to rebuild allot of the pens etc. We place our trust in GOD and hope and pray that we may get help from caring people with not only financial help but we can find more volunteers who would like to help. I have known these wonderful people for about 6 years now and I feel very blessed having them in my life.
I've met some of lemondrops volunteers at their events over the course of the last couple years. They are always so dedicated and caring for the animals, they work hard to make sure that every dog or other adopted animal goes to a good home. I applaud your work! Thank you for all you do for our community!
I was walking into a favorite local retail store and there was a pair of the sweetest eyes staring back at me from Lemondrop's Adoption table. From the moment I approached Bre to see what they were all about, I could tell how committed to their cause and mission they were which was finding forever homes for the animals under their care. Bre took the time to walk me through the adoption process to ensure that Leia (now Pippa Middleton) would be well cared for! Discovering Lemondrop and learning about their volunteers and their sense of community was so inspirational!
I have been volunteering with Lemondrop on and off for several years through both their animal rescue and community outreach. Working with them has been a rewarding experience.
These people really care about the animals! They do indepth background checks and home visits for every adoption. Thank you so much!
Lemondrop was absolutely amazing to work with to adopt our Winston. We live out of town and they went above and beyond to make sure that our home and lifestyle was the right fit for him. They were thorough and kind but always kept his best interests at heart. Winston has helped us heal after losing our beloved LD in December. He’s a wonderful little guy and we love him so very much!

I began volunteering with Lemondrop at its inception in 2011, when they opened as a performing arts company to help disabled and less fortunate children in Los Angeles. As a former actress the idea of giving back was very exciting for me. When they branched out to open up Lemondrop Farm Sanctuary, I was the first to volunteer to help. Later after the drought, they decided to move the headquarters to North Florida where water was more abundant, and I volunteered to be the first full time onsite volunteer. Working with Lemondrop has been the most rewarding experience of my life. It has literally altered my goals and focus, I'm no longer self-consumed, I look to see where I can give back to both people and animals. I never thought volunteering with a nonprofit would change my entire outlook on life. I highly recommend Lemondrop to anyone who is looking to participate in something larger than yourself. They have a very small staff, but they are so dedicated to providing to others.
You will never find people who are quite so passionate about animals. All staff are volunteer (none receive any sort of paycheck), which means that every cent goes to the care and welfare of the animals. Lemondrop is strictly 100% no-kill, and does not euthanize any animal for any reason. We believe that all animals should be treated with respect and each life should be valued, on this principle we have spent all this time since we have been in operation cultivating the most natural environment possible for each animal.
We strive for this because we believe it enriches their life, and they live to be older and happier than they would be otherwise. So far it has been a rousing success. Presently we have two chickens - Gideon and Gloria - who were surrendered to us when we first opened. They are still with us today (6 years is quite old for a chicken), and are in excellent health with no signs of passing anytime soon.
Our volunteers are some of the most passionate dedicated people that I have ever met, and it is an honor and privilege to work with people of their moral standard. Thank you for making Lemondrop a success.

The ladies at Lemondrop have been such an asset to our community. They're unsung heroes to all the farm animals they give a home to. Keep up the good work!
Poe is doing great, I am so happy and couldn't have asked for a better dog! She's definitely a learning process but we are rowing together. I am so lucky to have her in my life and excited for the rest of our journey together. Thank you so much and I am very grateful for you guys introducing her to me. -James
We are sooooo happy with our new puppy, "Abby." She is having a blast with our other dog Elmo and she already knows how to sit and respond good to her name. Our son adores her!
Sandy's Meat and Groceries is a locally owned meat and grocery store located in Gadsden county just five minutes pasted the Ochlocknee bridge. We offer a wide variety of meats and must have food items, we also special order if you can't find something that you need. I support Lemondrop 100%. My groceries will never go to waste. Why waste when I could share with the animals at Lemondrop? They will never go hungry as long as I am able to support them.
It is such a pleasure to have met these two ladies. It is so great to know that there are people in this world that love animals so much that they dedicate their live to taking care of them. I have seen them so many days with little animals that are too young to take care of themselves. One day AJ came in my store (Lucky Duck) with a lamb that had been born just a couple of days before that had lost its mom at birth, and even though they needed to run some errands around town they knew the baby would need to be fed. So they brought it with them so that he could be fed as needed. Another day they had a tiny bunny, no bigger than an inch that they found with no mom to feed by, so Bre fed it with a dropper, and many days they have had puppies that need to be taken care of. Every day they are caring for these precious animals. if they see an animal on the road that looks hurt or hungry they will stop and take care of it. If anybody don't want their pet any longer all they have to do is call them and they will come and get it with no question asked. That is how much they love animals. At any given time they could have 200+ animals that need to be taken care of and fed, all on very little help and funding. We do what we can to help take up donations to help provide food, blankets, towels, sheets or whatever we can do. It is my joy to help in any way I can.

That's me Dewayne in front with my adopted rescue Rigby, my husband Andrew and the chunky little guy in the back is another adopted rescue Reno. We just want to let you guys know how important the work you do is to us. Without people in the world like you millions of adorable dogs like mine would not have a chance at a better life. It was people like yourself that made my family possible. So from the bottom of our hearts and from the wagging of our tails we thank you. keep up the great work. I couldn't imagine life in a world without the guardian and voice that you provide for the furry animals.
I got my beautiful pomeranian from them .They are great people they really do love the animals . They really do try to make sure the animals go to great homes.
Lemondrop took in my rooster Gideon several years ago, they're the only local Farm Rescue that I could find where the animals wouldn't get adopted out our potentially slaughtered. I'm so happy to know he has been able to live out a long and happy life at the sanctuary with the other chickens.
These amazing people provided my family with food and clothes when I felt I had nowhere to turn they are really amazing and just give out of the goodness of their hearts I appreciate them and their helpers and hope I can give back someday!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter rescued a baby pig that we kept for several days and realized that he needed to be in a farm. She contacted the Gentle Barn to see if they had any idea of a "no kill" sanctuary in this area. They highly recommended Lemondrop Animal Sanctuary. They picked up the baby and the rest is history. The baby now weighs 150 lbs and is so happy. We have volunteered for them ever since. They take excellent care of everyone. Wonderful, wonderful people and place!!!
I adopted a piglet from Lemondrop almost two years ago, she has been a wonderful pet! Super smart, healthy -- the adoption process was easy but they were very thorough and did a home visit and background check. Thank you for connecting me with my Baby!
I found a little tiny piglet in December, on Hartsfield Rd. I could not keep him, so in a panic called the Gentle Barn who referred me to Lemondrop. He is living the life of a spoiled pig now at the sanctuary. I am so grateful that they took him into their lives. He is one of a kind.
Hi. Thank you for connecting me with Walker, my adopted beagle mix puppy.
He is great and got a healthy report from the vet.
I lost my nine-year-old Labrador in January and took it hard. I guess you
could say it was the puppy that rescued me and not the other way around!
I have had the great privilege to volunteer my time with the Lemondrop staff. They have spent countless hours of their own dedication to save the lives of neglected, injured and abandoned animals. The time I have spent with them is barely a fraction of the 100+ hours a week they put forth for animals in need. Growing to know the individuals of this organization over the last three years, I've learned just how little we appreciate our animal companions, and the time we consider "volunteered hours". I first met them through an old job, and needed high school volunteer hours. After being able to see life from their side, and what pure dedication can do to motivate their lives to rescuing these animals, I have a new found respect for small town animal rescues. Living with no air conditioning in the Florida summer, working to provide food and safety for the animals with only what's given in donations, and being thankful for everyday despite the obstacles. This is what Lemondrop is all about, and I am happy to have been able to have some small part in their gracious work and always remember what you are all about because ya'll are amazing!
I'd like to share a wonderful experience I had with Lemondrop Animal Rescue. I spent my two days off a weekend feeding the rescued animals on the farm. I even went on a rescue of a horse. I took us two afternoons to coax him into the trailer but they did it. I made friends with Tina the turkey who I'll never forget. This experience reinforced my faith. I urge anyone who loves our animal friends to help however they can. Thank you.
These people go above and beyond! They are involved in giving food and clothing to those in need and assist other groups that do so. They have an excellent animal sanctuary where the animals are loved and cared for. I have never met such happy bunnies as when I was there! Oh, and have you heard them sing?
