Mission: Rti harnesses the power of fandom to motivate communities of fans to be more physically active while supporting other deserving charities making a direct impact on a myriad of issues including veterans, women, youth, homelessness, literacy, animals, the environment and combating diseases.
Programs: Random tuesday inc. , through its three charitable programs, hogwarts running club, whovian running club, and chilton running club, created and supported three vibrant online communities of fans to be more physically active while raising funds for deserving charities. Members from all 50 states and more than 60 countries around the world logged more than 3. 5 million miles to improve their physical fitness. These members also registered for 20 unique virtual running events with more than 40,000 individual registrations that resulted in over 600,000 being donated to eighteen deserving charities in 2017. Rti also executed two projects with members donating specific physical items. Members of hogwarts running club sent 82,000 pairs of socks that were donated to more than 30 homeless shelters across the us, great britain, australia and canada. This was the single-largest collection of socks in history. Also, members from all three rti programs joined forces to donate 7,644 bags of coffee to the people of puerto rico in the wake of hurricane maria.
