I want to thank you, Stephen, and all your wonderful volunteers for a truly magical evening.
While I have been treated for lymphedema and lymph gland cancer, it was such a fabulous stroke of luck my lymphedema specialist gave me your flyer. Your organization and all your staff are a bright spot in this world of cancer treatment.
I have been in treatment for two years for cutaneous T cell lymphoma at MGH in Boston. This is a very rare blood cancer for which there is no cure. The purpose of the treatments is management of the symptoms which attack the skin with extensive rashes, extremely dry and itchy skin, etc. I also am diabetic and the pills I take for CTCL adversely affect my insulin absorbsion, my thyroid balance and lipids. I am also easily fatigued.
The irony of this disease called Sezary Syndrome is that it is not fatal but it makes life miserable.
So I was very pleased to enjoy Friday night's show in Beverly. The performers were great musicians and singers and really mimicked the real million dollar quartet.
I only became aware of your organization after seeing a flyer at MGH in Danvers where I don't often go. You would benefit from more widespread announcement of your events.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
The evening succeeded in giving me a respite from my cares and woes.
As a volunteer with To Show We Care, Inc., I have had the profound privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible impact this organization has on individuals battling life-threatening illnesses and their caregivers. This nonprofit is a beacon of hope, providing much-needed joy and respite through their thoughtfully organized entertainment events.
One of the most touching aspects of my volunteer experience has been participating in the “Night on the Town” program. This initiative offers patients and their caregivers an evening of dining and live theatre at the North Shore Music Theatre. The joy and excitement that light up their faces as they step into a world of entertainment and escape from their daily struggles are truly heartwarming.
I have seen how these events create a ripple effect of positivity. For the patients, it’s a chance to feel normal again, to laugh, and to forget about their illness, even if just for a few hours. For the caregivers, it’s an opportunity to relax and enjoy a moment of peace, knowing that their loved ones are being cared for and entertained. The bonds formed during these evenings are incredibly special, fostering a sense of community and mutual support among attendees.
The dedication of the founder, Stephen Tyler, and the entire team of volunteers is nothing short of inspiring. Their unwavering commitment ensures that every detail is perfect, and every guest feels cherished and valued. The smiles, laughter, and tears of joy I have witnessed are a testament to the profound difference To Show We Care, Inc. makes in the lives of those it touches.
Volunteering with this organization has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It has shown me the power of kindness and the incredible impact that a little bit of joy can have on someone’s life. To Show We Care, Inc. is not just a nonprofit; it is a lifeline for those in need of emotional and social support. I am honored to be a part of this incredible mission and wholeheartedly encourage others to support and get involved with this wonderful organization.

This was my second event with To Show We Care! What an amazing caring organization! Stephen Tyler is a supportive kind caring person who truly care about those battling illness! I found him very easy and warm to talk with. It's just what the doctor ordered a night on the town with a helping friend to see a great show and take my mind off illness and cancer for a great night of entertainment! This nonprofit is amazing and God Bless them all! I would be willing to help out whenever I can.

Second event with Show to Care. Tremendous organization. Top quality people and the events the bring forward are excellent. Stephen really has a welcoming attitude to their quest Can’t say enough. Thank you for a great night at Margaritaville performance Peter
I’m a 13 yo leukemia survivor and I got to attend shows at North Shore Music Theater with To Show We Care. It’s really great because it gives people a chance to take a break from what’s going on in life to go see a show. Before you go see the show you get a free dinner and then after the show you get to meet the cast. Because of going to a show I got interested in acting and have been doing theater myself. It’s given me some really great memories.
To Show We Care is a completely amazing non-profit that is dedicated to bringing joy and a break from stress and worry to cancer patients and their caregivers. My daughter had leukemia and we have been fortunate to have been guest of To Show We Care, attending Night On the Town events. What a wonderful evening they provide of dinner, a show and a reception with the cast. It’s a unique and unparalleled experience. Add in the amazing volunteers and staff and this is one of the best charitable organizations out there!
I attended an event of To Show We Care last fall and was so impressed and touched as to how they treat the people with the illness but also their caregivers. It gave Both of us a great night on the town and a chance to forget what we were going through and just enjoy. Thank you for all you do!
I became aware of To Show We Care through my partner in life, Kristine. She was having radiation treatments for breast cancer and brought home a flyer promoting a "Night on the Town". What an awesome idea, we concurred, and she placed the call to register.
After having a wonderful experience enjoying a nice meal with other patients in treatment and seeing a really cool show, I followed the organization on Facebook as one of the volunteers recommended. This led to seeing a post recruiting help with client and donor relations so I contacted Stephen and I'm so glad I did. I've become a volunteer helping in numerous areas and what a fulfilling experience!
The organization has an amazing mission, strong core values and a wonderful vision of expanding services/programs to help even more people in treatment for life threatening diseases in the future.
I had an opportunity to volunteer with this amazing organization at one of their dinner and a show nights in December of 2016. They have such passion, care, and great humor in all that they do and I look forward to when I'm back in the Boston area to work with them more!
I met Stephen in the lobby of the Northshore Music Theater and once I spoke with him and learned what the organization was all about I was all in... I started volunteering about a year ago... And the company that I work for makes a monthly donation to help prove " A Night on the Town"
A great BIG thank you to Stephen Tyler and his group of volunteers from To Show We Care. We were able to attend a wonderful performance at the North Shore Music Theater with a pre-show buffet and post-show dessert/coffee. This was a perfect evening for everyone to forget about illness for a night.. Stephen and his group should be commended for showing that they really do care!! Thank you again and keep up the great work!! The Callahan’s
It has been such a pleasure to volunteer with Stephen Tyler and To Show We Care. I first found out about this amazing organization through a flyer at the North Shore Cancer Center that my mom picked up during on of her treatments. After going to Mary Poppins in 2017, I knew I had to volunteer with this wonderful organization to give back to those going through life threatening illnesses. Stephen stops at no lengths to make these unforgettable evenings for the guests. To Show We Care is a truly unique non-profit, and is a ideal model for other non-profits that share a similar mission.
I love to be a volunteer for this Organization because it is very rewording to see how much fun patients have the day of the event we host. I love to see the smiles of the patients when they walk into the event all dressed up and then see them having a fun time at the dinner and finally during the show and after the show. Also, it is great to read the thank you cards they send to us expressing how they were able to forget about their pain for the full night. It is awesome to see how many patients this organization reaches every event. By being a volunteer I can truly experience that it is better to give than to receive!
To Show We Care is a wonderful organization that provides a safe environment for people of like health situations to enjoy a well needed night on the town. It is a time for someone with a life threatening illness to let loose and not feel so isolated.
Stephen Tyler has put his heart and soul into this organization. He has a very large heart. Thanks for all you do Stephen!
So grateful to met Stephen Tyler and all the Volunteers and having a opportunity to pay it forward.
Please keep up the donations so we can continue to help others.

Stephen and his volunteers truly put their heart and soul into To Show We Care’s mission—encouraging people one event at a time. Every day the team works hard to brainstorm new ideas on how to: get the word out, connect with more patients/donors/volunteers/sponsors and provide meaningful content and programs that lift the spirits of everyone involved.
“Night on the Town” is their bread and butter but, the affects of To Show We Care do not end when the curtain closes. Stephen and his team have created a community that continues to include its guests and support them as much as they can whether it’s a friendly hello, an appreciation card, or just checking in on Facebook reacting to the curated content which includes photos from events, raffles, and sometimes even book recommendations related to what guests may be going through.
To Show We Care goes above and beyond to show that they care and that’s really special.
We had been donating to To Show We Care for several years, $20 here, $10 there, $100 at holidays. We knew that To Show We Care provided a night on the town for people going through cancer and serious illness treatments as a way to forget treatment, cancer/illness, and worries for a few hours. As cancer survisors, we knew how important that was. We were going to do a matching challenge donation for the holidays. We had a general idea as to what To Show does, but beyond knowing that its recipients got a night out and a live theatrical experience that was all we knew. Steven Tyler said that we really should come to one of the nights on the town to really see what the organization does and how the cancer patients respond. And so we did ... and we were blown away by the great care that the organization takes to make the entire evening special: genuinely warm welcoming greetings; good, tasteful, nutritious food and drinks; table games all in a relaxed happy atmosphere ... followed by a wonderful musical production as good as anything in downtown Boston or NYC ... and then a post show reception with the cast ... oh and more food and desserts that would make someone on a diet cry. Everything that was done was to make the attendees feel genuinely welcome and have a wonderful vacation from cancer treatment and worry. We were so impressed that we are doubling our challenge donation. The donations do not line the pockets of highly paid big name officers. What is donated provides the meals, theater tickets, etc. We are proud to donate to and support this much needed and worthwhile organization that helps to remind patients that they are not their illnesses and in spite of them, they can still have a fun, nurturing evening on the town.
My husband and I had a wonderful night at the North Shore production of Jekyll & Hyde. Steve Tyler and their fantastic volunteer staff made a rare night out a real joy. I was so happy that everything was taken care of, the food was excellent, and the play was terrific. It makes ones heart swell with emotion to see how much To Show We Care really does care.
I received a gift from this organization in 2017 when I was recovering from major surgery to remove a tumor. It was a happy surprise to find out that this organization even existed, and to see what their mission was. I can't thank you enough for the joy and happiness you have brought to me. To find out people do care for you, even in your darkest times, is amazing. Please continue to do what you guys do best.
It is truly an honor to know the founder of this organization--how he stood by his partner through her most difficult time--only ever wanting to bring love, joy, peace, and as many smiles as possible. This non-profit is truly all about love--something this world needs much more of! I can't recommend it highly enough--we all need to smile and enjoy more--especially those among us who are deeply struggling. To Know We Care, Inc. deserves so much more than 5 stars--but since that's all I can give...5 it is!
I watched Stephen care for Susan during her battle with cancer. To see what he has created in To Show We Care is amazing and proves his dedication to continuing his cause. With his crew of volunteers, he is able to provide an amazing night out for those fighting a life threatening disease, just as he did with Susan. To Show We Care's outreach to those with a life threatening disease offers a welcomed respite from the struggles of treatment.
Having seen the original startup of this unique nonprpfit, and having followed its growth,it is easy to see the incredible difference it makes to struggling patients and their caregivers.
The organization has grown exponentially, reflected by the many, many smiling families and friends in the photos.
Bringing some normalcy to a life disrupted is the goal of "To Show We Care" ,and deserves to be applauded, and supported.
All the best "To Show We Care"
Able to take my 5 year old grandson for lunch and performance because of this wonderful organization. My daughter-in-law was in treatment for metastatic breast cancer, and my grandson hasn't had many happy days. He was able to meet other children that had an ill parent, and had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for all you do!

This wonderful organization allowed me to take my 5 year old grandson to a performance of Rapunzel and out to lunch with other children with parents who also have cancer. It's been a very difficult year for my family, and a 5 year old should not have to go thru his mom's treatment for metastatic breast cancer. This was such a welcome time away from the illness, and all the time away from his mom while she goes through treatment. He loved the show and can't wait to go back to the theater. Thank you for allowing a little boy to be a little boy and forget about how sick his mom is.
I was a recipient of a gift from this charity last year during my chemo treatment, and it meant the world to me to have such a kind gesture made for me and those like me. Cancer patients need all the support we can muster and charities like this are the bulwark against so much negativity
I am Stephen Tyler's sister and our family saw first hand how he cared for Susan during her battle with cancer. This nonprofit helps fill the huge void in his life since Susan's death. He's still caring for and helping others who need a happy night out with family and friends. Just last year my son and my son-in-law had cancer surgeries and To Show We Care sent them both gift cards so that they could enjoy an evening out in our area. This ministry is not like any other - so deserving of our support, prayers and contributions.
Stephen Tyler and the team at To Show We Care have done fantastic job of providing a much needed respite for those dealing with life-altering illnesses. I have heard story after story of folks who were given a break from the day-to-day battle and given some time to forget about their troubles and simply enjoy the show. Like a breath of fresh air or a cup of cool water, To Show We Care has provided relief and enjoyment to those who need it most.
To Show you Care is an amazing organization. To see the joy and smiles on the faces of these going through difficult times is so heartwarming. It gives a night out to enjoy, have fun, have a great dinner and see a fantastic show. As a volunteer, it gives you a warm feeling that for that time, you have brought much joy into others lives. Thank you Stephen for spreading the joy with this wonderful organization.

To Show We Care is an amazing organization. Through the selfless acts of the founder, Stephen Tyler and its many volunteers, so many that are not as fortunate to enjoy good health as we are, are able to enjoy a night out at the North Shore Music Center in Beverly, Mass. These individuals are treated to a wonderful dinner and a top-notch Broadway show, along with a night of fellowship and fun before the play. A very dear friend of mine and her sister took part in this. They could not stop taking about how wonderful the night was. We all know the little things mean alot in life. Something we may take for granted, another suffering from a very serious illness does not take anything for granted. One night out can give our loved ones and friends a night out that they will never forget. But most of all they are able to forget their troubles for the night. To see the joy and laughter that this organization gives our friends and those affected by difficult diagnosis, is all worth it. It doesn't end there. Those that enjoy the dinner and the show give the volunteers so much back as well and it helps us realize how blessed, thankful and fortunate we are to have our good health. It is a win-win for all. I believe the volunteers get back as much as the recipients do.
Thank you to Stephen Tyler for founding To Show We Care, a wonderful nonprofit organization.
To Show We Care is an amazing organization that was started and continues out of love! The hard working group provides a much needed night out to cancer patients struggling in treatment where they can hopefully forget their struggle for a night, enjoy a reception and a show mingling with caring people and even getting to meet the cast of the shows they see at the North Shore Music Theatre. I have been a volunteer with them for a few years and remember being struck by Stephens story about why he started the organization and by the caring and dedicated volunteers and supporters, the appreciative patients and the beautiful sentiments and night out that is created for these deserving patients. I love being part of this group and will to be as long as they'll have me! Check us out ... donate ... join ... you'll be glad you did!

I'm 9 years out from being diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer, surgery, chemo, major complications, etc. Steve Tyler and To Show We Care helped to make some tough times easier with their generous and loving spirit.
Being a survivor thus far has also motivated me to donate back to the cause, too.
We are blessed to have people such as Steve in this world. If you can, please help him to keep it going forever by donating.
Thank you for a wonderful night out! My husband and I had a fun time out seeing 42nd Street. It was great to be surrounded by caring, positive people! This is an amaizing organization and dedication truly shows!
What a great organization. This was my first musical I have ever been too. It was a real break from all the chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. The wonderful buffet before the show was fantastic. Such a great thing to do looking out for people in distress. this organization is the real thing thank you for reaching out.
I was so impressed with Mr. Tyler and his volunteers at To Show We Care who provided such a fun, memorable evening. We were treated to a delicious meal and an amazing show 42nd street. I was truly amazed by the talented stars in the production and we even got to meet them after the show. I met so many brave people who are fighting for their lives against cancer and we all had big smiles on our faces thanks to this wonderful organization. I will never forget this very special evening and I thank Mr. Tyler, his volunteers and his sponsors for taking the time to provide such a fun event.
I have had the pleasure to meet STEPHEN and his volunteers and I was awe struck. I can not put into works the work and dedication this man and his organization go through to help people who find them selves in a hard situation . He gives joy to those who suffer and he makes us feel the love and joy to go on and face our challenges . Being together in a group help us to realize we are not alone . One can not put into words the work and dedication that STEPHEN and his volunteers put into this organization to make this happen. He truly Has made a difference in my life.
I had my first experience with "To Show We Care" just this past weekend.
My wife and I were treated to a great show at the North Shore Music Theater (42nd Street). There was dinner, the show and to top it off, we got to meet the entire cast of the show after the show ended.
Stephen Tyler made us feel very welcome and I can feel the compassion that oozes from this man.
Thank you again,

Just diagnosed after 7 years with return of breast cancer-Stage 4 metasticized to Chest Wall/Lungs when I saw sign in MDs office with invite to a nearby performance of 42nd Street @ a local music theatre 2 days away! I contacted Stephen & he made it happen! My disinter in law & I had such a wonderful evening including pre-show catered dinner and post meet and greet with the cast! 5 hours that I didn’t have to think about Cancer—but when I did I was reminded that I’m not alone & others may have things worse than I do; so that made me grateful for the evening itself, the health I do have and time I have left, and for my wonderful family & Friends!
This is an amazing organization. Stephen Tyler, the volunteers, ND MY and the sponsors put on a fun night for those with a chronic illness and their caregiver. My husband and I have been to two events and really appreciate a night of no stress or worry.
Stephen Tyler does a tremendous amount of work for his non profit that I was able to participate in when he founded To Show We Care. I offered what time and resources I could for most of the events, as well as the musicals playing at Beverly's NSMT. For the 1st three years I was in charge of photographing the events shown at NSMT - This was a perfect way to meet all of our cherished guest who were given a wonderful night of shared food & drinks, and "top - notch" entertainment. I also helped find local businesses who were excited to donate food, pastries, and gift baskets.
My wife and I shared many great nights at the theatre with Stephen and Sue, (while she was in treatment). Now into it's 4th year, To Show We Care has taken hundreds of people who are presently undergoing treatment to many shows and events, and I've personally seen first hand how one person's battle can become a catalyst to comfort and build up so many others going thru similar circumstances. It is deeply heartfelt to see the level of satisfaction that To Show We Care brings to the hearts of those that come out and receive the gift that Stephen made available with a simple idea, and a gigantic heart!

My wife and I have attended two events at the North Shore Mucic Theatre sponsored by To Show We Care. It was great to get out and have a meal and watch a show that we probably would not have been able to see without this group. We didn’t have to do anything but show up and enjoy ourselves. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we felt welcomed. The meal was great and the show was very well done. We are very thankful to Steven and his “crew” for all their help and hard work.
Such a wonderful non profit doing wonderful things for those affected by terminal illness. Stephen, the founder is unlike any other- Such a wonderful human being! Along with his wonderful volunteers they create an evening to never forget! From dinner, to a show all free of charge to these patients! I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering when To Show We Care!
I have been going to the MGH for treatment of my cancer and it was there I first noticed the flyers about "To show we care" and the offer to attend Christmas carol play free of charge. My wife and I needed a break from all the cancer appointments and Chemotherapy so I called. My wife and I did attend the show and met others going through cancer treatments with their families by their side. I cannot tell you how good I felt that people and donors made this all possible. Cancer is terrible but the kindness and generous donors made this night special for us, Thank you "To show we care" and all the volunteers and donors for making this possible.
It is a heart warming experience to work with Stephen Tyler, the other volunteers and the cancer patients that are a part of the To Show We Care Experience. This organization is totally dedicated to providing an enjoyable night at the theater and dinner for cancer patients and their caregivers. What a joy it is to see them relax and get away from their illness for an evening.
I just started to volunteer at this organization because what they do is so different than other cancer organization and it is crucial for the patients to recovery. They provide a fun night full of entertainment to patient in treatment so they can forget for one night their pain and instead laugh and smile!. This event is so encouraging and inspiring for patients and their families and also for volunteers. It is so important that patient stay strong soul and mind while their are in treatment. The good memories that this organization create in those patients that one night is a treasure patients and their families will keep for ever!.
I've volunteered with this program because I believe in its mission, but the true reward comes from the people we are privileged to serve. There's no doubt that To Show We Care fulfills its mission of creating an enjoyable event for people dealing with life-threatening illnesses. The supporting all volunteer staff ensure the guests feel a sense of community and support.
I have accompanied a person with an illness to shows through this program. It is so heartening to see someone enjoy a night out and forget about their illness for a night. They get to enjoy meeting before the show while food is available, and sometimes meet the cast after. It is a wonderful program!!!!
This past Spring my husband and I got to see the Music Man and have dinner at the North Shore Music Theatre! It was wonderful. I love theatre and so does my husband! It was so amazing that this Very generous man Steven Tyler and his volunteers gave many of us with life altering diagnosis a time to be happy and celebrate life. To Show We Care gave me the chance to relax and escape for one night but has given memories I will cherish forever. Thank you so much for all you do! Xox
