Target demographics: We focus on Engaging Youth Through The Arts
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 350 children in Johnston, Wake, and Harnett counties.
Geographic areas served: Johnston, Wake, and Harnett counties of North Carolina
Programs: Music (to include DJ’ing), Creative Writing, Theatre, Dance, Poetry, and other Visual and Performing Arts by way of our various Camps (Spring, Summer, and Winter). Our Youth Enrichment and Development programs are designed to foster a positive impact on their self-esteem, enhance life skills. promote mental well-being, leadership skills, and ignite their creativity. All of which they will be able to utilize beyond Square Knot Kids to help them at home, at school, and in their communities. Ultimately positioning them in becoming change agents and exemplars with the success of a positive impact on all whom they reach through their work, their charity, and leadership. We also host an Annual Backpack Drive where we provide free backpacks filled with school supplies to children for the upcoming school year and Feed Our Youth Day events were we focus on contributing to the reduction of food insecurity in children.
