I have been on the board of LALC for a few years and have been helping with fundraisers and such. We have been trying to get donations for road repair in the midway area for a long time. I have lived out here for 17 years and have gone through numerous vehicles because of the roads. Nothing will be done unless donations are given to LALC. I would love to see everyone donate what you can so we can have decent roads to drive on. Please donate what you can and God bless.

Mission: LALC (Lifting Away Life’s Challenges) Mission will help Rural/Non-Rural Colorado low- moderate income individuals, families and communities make improvements to their Community, Roads/Sidewalks (rural communities only), Home/Land Improvements, and Misc Help. We will raise the funds through generous donations, grants, and fundraisers to help Rural/Non-Rural residents with community improvements.
Results: Hello Everyone, We at LALC need generous people like you to help eight rural subdivisions fix their dirt roads with a permanent solution. These rural subdivisions have a long history of bad real estate developers never following through on fixing these public roads within the community.Some of the residents living in this community are being denied medical services in their home due to the roads. The roads in some areas cannot have two cars pass each other safely, car repairs due to big ruts/holes in the dirt roads, and if there is a fire or medical emergency, it is hard to reach these residents quickly due to the road conditions. When it comes to the safety and well-being of residents in this community, the roads need improvements. LALC has asked for help from state officials and other avenues to help the residents these options have failed. It is up to the residents living in these rural subdivisions to come up with the money to fix the roads. Since the population within these rural subdivisions is low and the majority of the residents live on low to fixed incomes, it is hard to fix the road issues. There is not enough money generated to move things forward to fix the roads. Please will you help these rural residents with your generous donation? We can solve this road situation together and give the residents a permanent solution to the road issues. Currently we have raised 98.00 to help the funds needed to fix the roads for these rural communities.
Target demographics: LALC (Lifting Away Life’s Challenges) is a 501c3 organization helping communities in rural/non-rural areas with improvements to roads, home/land improvements, and misc help that arises during a financial crisis.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2018 we helped two fire victims in the Hanover/Midway CO fire and Paradise CA fire. We helped two firefighters injured when a road collapsed which engulfed their firetruck and major injuries in the Hanover/Midway CO area.
