I have been following this wonderful organization for over 2 years. I donate as much as I can to help them continue to help abused and neglected animals. What I love is they accept any animal in need, whether it is a goat, calf, cat, horse or potbellied pig. They take animals that are orphaned as well giving them all the love they need to recover from their trauma. They work all hours of the day to give these animals their best possible life in a beautiful country setting in Tennessee. They make sure the animals receive any medical care they need no matter the cost. Recent donations have been impacted by the state of the economy but the animals always get what they need. Shelley Wilkins, executive director at Xanadu, has worked hard in making this nonprofit a huge success.
