Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: Paddle Antrim’s mission is to protect our water resources by using paddle sports to connect people to our waterways. Through stewardship, education, improved water trail access, and promotion of our waterways we will increase water resources protection and enhance the economic vitality of the region.
Results: In 2021 Paddle Antrim launched the Chain of Lakes Water Trail with 84 access sites and over 100 miles of paddling. Paddle Antrim's Ripple Effect Mini-Grant program has funded 17 projects, given $25, 800, and impacted over 10 communities.
Target demographics: protect our water resources by using paddle sports to connect people to our waterways.
Geographic areas served: Antrim County Michigan
Programs: Increasing water trail access, education and paddling events, and our Ripple Effect Mini-Grant Program, we will increase water resources protection and enhance the economic vitality of the region.
