The irratic short haired lady in the red suv said she was pissed because she dropped everything to come here and we weren't sure we wanted to give up the cat that wouldn't feed her new kittens because we had another mother cat that was feeding them and taking care of them and the lady said she didn't know if they would live anyways at this point but we didn't know if we wanted to take the chance yet but when this lady got here she was nice at first then I gave her all of the kittens and when I hand her the Mother of them who is super sweet and was cuddling me and purring she grabbed it very rough by the scruff and threw her ON TOP of her kittens. Mind you the crate she had was tipped upwards so there was a square of space in the bottom. I proceeded to ask her why she did it and ask if she hurt any kittens and she said she knows she didn't because there was enough room in the bottom and she could see when she didn't even look she just threw my cat in there. I started to ask her questions pertaining other things about saved by zade and she couldn't answer any of my questions and then got mad when I asked for my cat and kittens back because I'll let the other mom take a chance with them rather than someone who threw the mother on top of them and she said " no I can't do that" I said " I need my cat and her kittens back now" then she started yelling when bringing them back saying she drove almost a hour and dropped everything to be her as if she didn't just abuse my cat and her kittens. And I still gave her a $40 donation for her time. If anything she put these kittens in more distress. We wouldn't have taken the chance but she told us they would all probably die anyways even if she took them. If I could do 0 stars I would.

Saved by Zade is a wonderful cat rescue nonprofit. They focus on trapping feral cats, and on spaying, neutering, and vaccinating them. They help many other stray kitties, too. Any that they have the room for. I’ve volunteered and donated since they first became a rescue. The woman who started and runs this rescue is unbelievable in the energy and heart that she puts into this organization. I’ve seen it first hand, her dedication.

I work at a partnering vet clinic that SBZ uses. I see the volunteers tired, some bloodied up and often with some crazy hair; bringing in these homeless cats right off the street. Making sure they do whatever is in their power to do to help these felines get the medical attention they need. I know they have done thousands of spay/neuters in the last year and it is atounding! Especially when they have full-time jobs on top of that!! This is a great group of wonderful people who are truly breaking the suffering cycle with our overpopulation issue.

This cat rescue has helped tnr so many cats in barry county. They have taken in the most broken cats snd bent over backwards spending tons of money saving them. I have so much respect for this group of volunteers. We all go out of our way to help each other and help the cats

Saved by Zade is an organization that truly cares about helping the kitties on all levels. I originally met the founder shortly after SBZ started when SBZ was only doing TNR. I was so impressed by her passion to help the kitties, her knowledge, and integrity. At the time, I was looking to adopt, but since SBZ wasn't doing adoptions yet, they pointed me to another organization that was, and I got 2 rescued, formerly feral kitties that are wonderful.
Last year, a feral mama with kits ended up in my yard and I contacted SBZ for their knowledge and assistance. The SBZ volunteers were knowledgeable and fabulous, and very supportive. They gave me the information and support to capture the family and get them the care they needed.
Recently, I saw some questionable Craigslist ads for an unknown cat rescue (no name listed). The ads reminded me of those "We buy Houses" signs that are on street corners that you know are a scam. I believe one of the above posters may be associated with those ads. If that poster is associated, they are trying to bash a legitimate organization that strives to save the kitties. Whoever this Craigslist person is, they are undermining the efforts of the good organizations such as SBZ.

Three years ago my cat got out. He was gone for two months, and Saved by Zade helped me trap him so I could have him back. I would have given anything to get him back, and thankfully SBZ was there to help. Everyone I met through their organization has been fantastic, and they all equally share the passion of rescuing cats.

Saved by Zade has earned its wonderful reputation by always putting cats first, time and time again. Not only do they place all adoptable cats in foster homes where they receive the TLC they are often in such need of, but also provide invaluable service to controlling the overwhelming feral and stray cat populations by doing TNR and through their Barn Placement Program. It's hard to believe that they do what they do with only donations and volunteers.

Just an amazing nonprofit. Saved by Zade has helped so many kittens and cats find homes, get well and be saved from harsh conditions. I would definitely recommend them to be on a list to call.

I have fostered for this organization as well as completed other volunteer work here and there. The people are very dedicated to the lives of every kitty they handle. With excellent team work, kitties they rescue are well cared for, loved, and go on to make wonderful family members. These folks go above and beyond just to save 1 life if necessary. Many of them work diligently both day and night in order to save lives. They are all hero's in my book.

I have adopted two cats from this organization. They are the best cats ever. Very healthy and super sweet. All the volunteers were super nice. Great place to adopt

Saved By Zade has such a dedicated group of people who do SO much to help cats. They help cats who come from some of the worst situations, and get them the help they need. There are volunteers who will drop everything to transport a cat to get medical treatment, take a cat to a spay/neuter appointment, do an urgent pick up or drop off, or go out in the freezing cold to live-trap a cat who may be injured. The organization and its volunteers are the kindest, most selfless people, and dedicate so much time, and give lots of love to cats who sadly didn't have that before. I cant say enough good things about this incredible organization.

I am a volunteer foster home for kitties that come through Saved By Zade. In the last year, our family has fostered and adopted out over 50 cats/kittens. Saved By Zade is an amazing organization that truly has the best intentions for ALL kitties. Many of our volunteers dedicate their lives, homes, finances, etc to helping these vulnerable creatures. I have never been more proud to work with an organization, and hope to continue for many years to come.

Saved by Zade is an org that is on the ground floor trying to help the kitties in need the most. Every volunteer I've met gives everything they can to help the kitties, and the difference we are making is clear! From transporting to fundraising to fostering to coordinating to sewing to marketing, its amazing what a group of crazy cat people can do! :)

ive been literally messaging this lady for 3 hrs now with no response .. my mother without my knowledge surrendered my cats to her. ive offered to pay thee adoption fees and donate to her business for my cats. she has pics of my two babies on her site . now seeking legal assistance to get her to respond

SBZ intentionally gave me a very sick and malnourished kitten, and she unfortunately passed away from liver disease after just two weeks of being in my home. I emailed them because I suspected negligence in the kitten's foster home - after all, whoever fostered her ignored several obvious sickly symptoms! - and their response was incredibly unprofessional. They blocked me from their volunteering group and instead created a post on Facebook asking for sympathy for THEM. You don't get to usher cats in and out, regardless of health, and then victimize yourself when someone has to suffer through the financial burdens and ultimate loss of their new best friend! I will no longer donate to or support this organization and I cannot possibly rate them any lower.

Terrible organization. They took my friend's cat without permission and when he notified them that it had a home they refused to give it back. So far they have raised hundreds of dollars claiming it is for “medical expenses”. My friend has had to involve the Sherriff and an attorney. When I offered to mediate the situation for them they tracked down my name online, learned where I work and called my job telling the office staff that the police were looking for me. These people are nuts and if you start questioning where the donation money goes they go absolutely insane. If you want to help animals in need please donate to a reputable charity and avoid this one
