Having volunteered for a period of fifteen months with the agency, I have seen the work of the agency and the boys and girls that comes through the organization for support. They are turning around challenging kids into more productive kids. I love each time I spend with the kids with their schoolwork. I have had the opportunity to work closely with this organization over a period of 9 months. Suffice it to say that this organization is changing the lives of youth in a very positive way. While I was with this organization serving under their workforce development pilot program initiative, we enrolled approximately 75 at-risk youth from both the Augusta, Georgia and metro-Atlanta, Georgia areas into the program. 60 percent of youth served were successful in finding their first jobs within 6 months of enrollment. 55 percent retained their first jobs over 90 days of employment. From the success of this pilot program, the organization has enrolled 125 youth this year alone. This organization needs your support to continue to improve the lives of our youth.
