Citizens For Alternatives To Animal Research And Experimentation (CAARE)

All animals matter.  But too few organizations focus on vivisection.   That's why I am so grateful to CAARE  for filling this  vacuum by investigating  and identifying animal research and showing how  it can be replaced - all while operating on a shoe string budget. I appreciate the ease of their action alerts allowing me to take action.  They deserve our support.  

I am so impressed with CAARE's approach to promoting animal welfare/rights. The strategy used, i.e. to educate, rather than proselytize and/or accuse, and the scientific, evidence-based information regarding alternative practice is so refreshing in this day and age where accusations, rhetoric, and inflammatory strategies generally prevail. Thank you so much, Barbara Stagno, for your approach and for your help for the innocent animals.

CAARE does a great job at educating the public about the cruelty and inadequacy of animal testing and highlighting the many human-based alternatives that can replace this. They also provide a lot of opportunity for their supporters to take action, like sending letters to Congress to ask them to support important legislation and contacting universities that are currently allowing hideous animal experiments to occur. By following CAARE and taking these actions, I feel like I'm able to make a difference for animals.

I strongly recommend this organization. Animal experimentation is outdated and cruel and CAARE is addressing this problem at the roots by pursuing legislative work like the Humane Research and Testing Act and the FDA Modernization Act.

I am very impressed with CAARE, led by its president and founder, Barbara Stagno. She has been working with an outside group of people responsible for the FDA Modernization Act, which recently passed the US Senate unanimously and now goes back to the House. This bill eliminates the archaic requirement for animal testing on every new drug considered for the market. Congratulations! This is major!!

I love the approach caare has. They make people think and realize that animals are not just items to be used in experiments but are thinking feeling bengs. I fully support their work to end animal testing and highly recommend this non profit to anyone who cares about animals and the future of research.

CAARE is an outstanding organization that has made impressive progress since its inception. They provide informative and actionable content to the public which is effective and helps raise vital awareness of the imperative that animal experiments end, but perhaps their most important work after closing down individual laboratories is the creation of the Humane Research and Testing Act; a bill with the power to make real and lasting change.

This is a relatively small non-profit that is making impressive strides toward progress in improving transparency in research and ending animal experiments. informative, targeted, and well-thought-out campaigns make it simple for people to join in and feel part of making a difference. I fully support CAARE!

This charity does great work in raising awareness and making their content easy to share because it isn't deliberately shockingly graphic like some. I've been following them for a while now and they have achieved some great results and have a good plan for how we create change.

It's important for us to track the progress in abandoning antiquated, fruitless, ineffective and cruel use of other animals in the search for human health. This knowledge allows us to help push things along when we have the opportunity. Before CAARE, it was hard to follow these efforts. Great job by CAARE.

What they do is beyond "excellence." - More than glad for their existence.

I profoundly admire CAARE's advocacy for animals - ALL animals - enduring unimaginable torment in research laboratories. Consistently, CAARE presents abundant evidence revealing humane alternatives and then reaches out to us to demand their adoption. Each CAARE appeal is supported by cogent and detailed information and data demonstrating the flawed premises of animal research and reveals to the public the unnecessary cruelty associated with it. Questionable practices are always passionately but intelligently refuted. I am also impressed by CAARE's efficacy: so many of CAARE's campaigns have resulted in the abandonment of cruel animal research and experimentation at facilities long associated with them. I sincerely thank CAARE for raising awareness of the horrors of animal reserach and experimentation and look forward to CAARE's future intervention on behalf of lab animals.

CAARE has been a powerful promoter of the truth that few people know: that innocent animals are suffering horribly and dying while people, companies and government agencies make big bucks off their lifelong torture!
It is so important that CAARE is spreading the truth: that these experiments & research DO NOT PRODUCE ACCURATE RESULTS! They cannot, legally, be used to quantify human response for purposes of new medicines.and treatments. It is all about the money.
This organization deserves all the help they can get to continue their efforts to stop all animal research and testing as soon as possible.

Such an important cause. Innocent animals are living miserable lives in agony because of animal testing. Their suffering is behind closed doors so they are completely voiceless. We have to place animal testing in the dustbin of history where it belongs.

They have done a lot towards extinguishing the inhumane torture of sentient animals for medical testing/research. There are so many other methods available that are less expensive and much more accurate. There is no excuse for it.

This organization is working to eliminate animal testing by promoting non-animal testing. Their research into new and better methods is outstanding

I love their efforts to stop researchers from using animals when there are better (and humane) ways to research the efficacy of new products/medications.

I fully endorse CAARE which, while being a small non-profit, has made more forward strides than many of the larger organizations of its type. They are all about action and progress which is in the best interests of animals and research itself. CAARE was founded by a deeply compassionate person who has enabled the organization to already have an impressive track record and be fully dedicated to the cause of ending horrendous animal experiments and finding the better path to bring biomedical research into modern times.

Caare and its founder Barbara Stagno Works endlessly to bring it about the day when animal research will be a thing of the past. They have made significant strides in ending useless animal experimentation and have established a bill that is passed will establish a center for training and incentivizing training the use of not animal or tentative. Experimenting on sentient individuals is inhumane and a waste of money. Many are appalled that these archaic research and laws still exist that require animal models.This non profit is pure of heart, the founder has over 20 years experience and will be and is a driving force to educate, build more awareness and advance.
