Results: Since it's inception, 7/21/23, Creative Restorations, INC, a Buffalo, NY-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has made a profound impact in the community through its dedicated efforts to assist individuals affected by substance abuse and related challenges. The organization has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to saving lives by providing critical resources and support. One of the key initiatives undertaken by Creative Restorations, INC is the Erie CARES Harm Reduction Outreach Team, and their distribution of Narcan and Fentanyl/Xylazine Test Strips-along with other harm reduction supplies, which has directly benefited over 800 individuals. By equipping the community with these life-saving tools, the organization has played a pivotal role in addressing the opioid crisis and preventing overdose incidents. Moreover, the organization's holistic approach involves the engagement of trained professionals, including Recovery Coaches-CRPA, CARC, CPS, CASAC, LMSW, and LCSW staff. These professionals provide support on a weekly and bi-weekly basis to 30 clients, 13 peers, and 17 families. This comprehensive support system aims to address not only the immediate challenges of substance abuse but also the broader emotional and social aspects of recovery. Creative Restorations, INC has gone above and beyond by securing treatment beds and transportation for 27 clients. This demonstrates the organization's commitment to ensuring that individuals seeking help have access to the necessary resources for their recovery journey. Despite the challenges of operating without a dedicated office and funding, the organization's care, concern, and empathy shine through in every interaction. In addition to their core services, Creative Restorations, INC has extended their impact beyond substance abuse support. During Thanksgiving 2023, the organization provided turkey dinners with all the fixings to 60 families, spreading warmth and joy during the holiday season. Furthermore, their contribution to agencies across Western New York, providing 100 board games, showcases a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of the community. The organization's dedication to making a difference in the lives of children was evident during Christmas 2023, where they provided an additional 40 board games and toys, along with stocking fillings for 40 children. These efforts highlight Creative Restorations, INC's belief in the transformative power of community support, especially during times of celebration.
