Causes: Hot Lines & Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention
Mission: Metro Crisis Services is building a continuum of mental health and substance abuse emergency services for the people of the seven-county Metro Denver region.
Programs: The crisis line, which began operations in may 2010. This is a telephone-based service, staffed by licensed mental health professionals. The crisis line provides immediate consultation and counseling, including suicide intervention, for individuals, families, and community helpers.
