I attended my first chamber music concert at Chamber Music International over 20 years ago, and I was instantly hooked. I loved the way the individual instruments shone in these small groups, the visible interplay between the artists, and the range of music for these varied combinations of instruments. I soon realized that the quality of these performers from around the world was also outstanding. As a small arts group, CMI excels at connecting with its patrons and artists. Each concert and season feels like a "family" experience.

Mission: Chamber Music International's mission is to present chamber music concerts at the highest artistic level to a broad spectrum of audience in the North Texas metroplex. CMI strives to expand the greater Dallas area’s reputation for musical excellence as well as provide opportunities for the youth to perform and learn more about chamber music.
Results: Chamber Music International (CMI) is a performance organization that focuses on offering concerts of the world's finest music for chamber ensemble, performed by pre-eminent masters of their instruments. For For over 35 years we have reached audiences of over 2500 each year, and 10% under 18. Each concert is unique, with artists and repertoire selected specifically for that event. In addition to our "concert hall" performances, we present up to 3 "Miniature Masterpieces" each season, which feature artists resident in the North Texas area. We nurture future lovers of classical music with two programs. The Mozart Outreach program takes master classes and brief recitals to area schools. The Youth Ambassadors program for high school and middle school students supports student performers through master classes and performance opportunities, and allows them to experience real world concert production by volunteering at CMI events. We also reach out to the community by providing free or low-cost tickets to various senior citizens and underserved groups.
