Mission: Hope brings people together to build a safe island community through prevention, safety, support and advocacy for people who have experienced interpersonal violence.
Programs: Hope assisted several pow island residents with after crisis services, partnered with several agencies to offer trauma informed support, provided travel assistance to victims, focused on outreach to the outlying communities in conjunction with several other agencies, provided training in prevention areas, recruited 3 new volunteer victim advocates, and various community events to communicate services and prevention
educated the community on the green dot program for prevention of violence
